I stand corrected! Way to test them dogs.

How many people do you all think Farragut will bring tonight?
probably not very many. Farragut generally doesn't travel very well. I am sure the parents are taking a bus out there. From my knowledge either Farragut or knox county is too afraid to have a bus for students for away games.. too big of a risk? which is ridiculous IMO. but that's the world we live in. Everyone afraid of getting sued or worried about all hte liabilities.. Farragut generally has terrible school spirit... I won the school spirit award.. trust me, as a whole Farragut's schools spirit is absolutely terrible.
He is correct. How did they travel? The players deserve better!

Sorry to call it ADS!
Stay strong and make to the big game this year. Your playing the best programs in the State.
Congrats on taking on the best the state has.
Good Luck on the rest of your schedule.
So how did the FHS fans think Riverdale compared to some Knox Area teams?
-
How much are the Owls fav by?
12 pts?
This Maplewood team is down from years past.
-
Good Luck Admirals. I watched Riverdale against H'ville. They are the real deal. Big D line that is quick. Lots of Skill position players. They are like a Alcoa but bigger.
I'm pulling for the blue but I think the Warriors have to much pwr and speed.
Was planning on being at the game but the wife has me going to a church event,
Warriors have home field, refs and that long bus trip is a energy sapper.
Good Luck

TOTAL YARDS WHITE HOUSE 212 STATION CAMP 100
FIRST DOWNS WHITE HOUSE 12 STATION CAMP 3.
THEIR IS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT WHITE HOUSE IS 21 POINTS BETTER THEN STATION CAMP THIS YEAR IF ALL OUR PLAYERS PLAYED THAT DIDNT PLAY IN THIS GAME. .
LB33 don't you get tired of being so wrong?
-
cough....cough...Scrappy Scrappy. Strength against speed. Brains verses stupid. 42-28 Hendersonville and GO MO coach Hatty and the home town boyz rule. It's a long season in a tough league, GWAVE1. The wave is still not back to the glory days.
-
You have a very weak fan base. I watched HL one game away from the Chanpionship Game a few years ago. It was sad to see what little fan suppost was in the stands. The team deserves better.
-
Still a close game!
If that's true, that's disappointed. I had been impressed with how the Farragut fans had behaved. I didn't hear any smack talking before the game, didn't hear them rubbing the loss in afterward, and they were quiet when Adam was down.On another note, since Catholic has to play schools 1.8 times their size, I've decided their points should be worth 1.8 times as much. With that in mind, I am declaring Catholic to have won the game 22 - 20. (Interesting fact: I read today that Tennessee won't have the highest multiplier in the nation 4 years from now; Nevada's introducing a multiplier of 2.0 that will go into effect in 2013)

score?
-
Great hits by both teams. I agree the Irish QB is the real thing.
-
You beat me to it Govman ...... Ya , "Catholic Is probably the only team this year to give us a run for our money"
hmmmm ........................
I think the young man forgot about Maryville, Riverdale and Bearden. Farragut plays 4 former state championship programs and teams that have knocked them out of the playoffs. Bearden!
I think coach needs to have a little talk!
-
Catholic can't say anything about Farragut now so they will try to make their players look bad. Quit your moaning and complaining, yall lost and it really wasn't as close as the score. Yall are lucky Farragut made so many mistakes. So what if the kid said that when he was excited? Would you rather him say "Catholic sucks and we knew it, we just took it easy on them"?
allvolfan1-
So what is Stronger former undefeated 4A State Champs or former 5A quarter final playoff team.
Welcome to the big boy league.
The Irish Defense was looking tired at the end.
-
Quote from Purdy at end of game, "Probably Catholic is probably the only team this year that is going to give us a run for our money."
Come on man. Cut him some slack. That was just some ill advised youthful exuberence in the wake of a big win from a kid that is not used to being interviewed. I think he was probably just trying to give Catholic credit. If he had some time to think about his answer, he likely wouldn't have said that. I certainly don't think Purdy or the Admirals will be taking Maryville, Riverdale and Bearden or anybody else lightly.
I watched Riverdale against Hendersonville. They should have won that game. Riverdale has more spped and athelets then the Irish and the line is as big. If the Ads play like they did tonight Riverdale will win. The Irish have a better QB to receiver combo.
Farragut will not go undefeated. To many teams that are good to make it all the way undefeated!
-
Final score? I was watching the game then at the end of the third quarter got called back in to work.
20-12

Quote from Purdy at end of game, "Probably Catholic is probably the only team this year that is going to give us a run for our money."
Now that was just Stupid!
One of the toughest schedules in the State and he says that.
I guess Bearden, Maryville etc are going to just give them the game.
Stupid!
Farragut can easily loose 2 in their stretch of hard games!
-
Farragut almost beat themselves !
Nice to see Farragut be the team to beat the undefeated (13-0) record for stright games and on the road! I think the guy on the net said the Irish had not lost a road game since 2004.
Way to pop their prep Cherry!
Irish should stay #1 in 5A.
Ravenwood Beating Hillsboro 12-7, 3:55 in the 3rd

That State Championship from last year didn't help tonight did it AFV1!
Wow, White House was right! The Irish do play dirty!

[quote="ihavenofriendzz"]rigger, you are looking like me with all that state championship stuff. I'm glad I had an influence on someone? haha,
but I think what Rigger is trying to get at... correct me when I'm wrong, is that Farragut succeeds at everything it does. Some other schools only succeed a few times in their whole history at 1 maybe 2 things, and they think they are great for it. Farragut having all the championships that it has, has them in many, many different sports, where as "powers" such as Maryville and Catholic have them in only a handful of things. Farragut is more rounded than other schools. They win at every sport. Not always championships, but clearly with 32 of the them, they win championships in more sports than most other schools. Farragut doesn't have a football championship, but that doesn't make them a terrible team.
edit.. also I think Farragut should have 33. I didn't see Boy's Golf on the list. I think they won last year did they not?
Hate to bust your bubble but I've been on that since 2004. I think the kids at Farragut don't understand that winning State championshsips is the exception instead of the rule. When my son was there he knew every year they had a chance to be State Champs in Soccer and CC. In Wrestling they had a State Champ every year on Avg.
My youngest finished off at Hendersonville which is a great School but is not even close to Farragut in the overall sports. Farragut, OR, DB are in a class of their own.
Oh yeah those 3 have good football teams most years. I'm sure OR will put their # of football State Championships against KCHS.
-
On the tread they locked I didn't see any Reb fans bring up the fact that last time Maryville lost to Alcoa both teams won a state Championship.
-
Rigger thats great stuff. 10x the state championships. However, the cash cow sport is football and Loudon has 3 compared to probably the most underachieving program in the state farragut. Loudon did win the smaller school division but look back at ther schedule during those years they beat the large schools. They also won one before the split. It's a shame Farragut doesn't have tradition but it's hard to compete with large schools when you have 2300 students. So be happy with all those cross country, boys and girls golf and polo state championships. I will say Farragut is headed in the right direction with the football program and this may be the year. I hope it is. I probably took your earlier comment in a little disrespect about Loudon because it is actually a football power in Tennessee history regardless of size.
FLMS sorry I just picked a team that was on the list that I thought AVF1 would know. You were a AA state power when I played AAA. I love your area of the state and I agree on some of your remarks about FHS football in the past. With the new schools in their area and the privates getting great talent I think FHS has a short window to get to the SC game.
However researching your teams of the past I was shocked how many kids you had out for the teams in the past compared to now. What's up?
Smyrna vs. Ensworth

Just seeing who would bite.
BTW- Do u have stats on the Private vs public prior to the split?
