Thanks for the replys. We do fundraisers(Car Wash, Concessions@ Football games, Ads for programs) but it's not even close to the expense of running the team. We get no school funding and having 4 sets of coaches in 5 years hasn't helped. We haven't had a Tourney in over 4 years. I appreciate the ideals. I was just wondering what an average was between teams in the State. Sounds like it's one extrem to the other. Our kids do get to keep their sweats. We pay for everything else.

When looking thru there trophy Case's ( One Day The Owls will Have 1). I know I saw National Champs for Basketball, and I thought Football. There Soccer, Cross Country and individual State Champs in track and wrestling have shown they have great athelets. Go get in your cage little birdies. The Tribe has the history and the team to stop your trash talk. They want have to kick Field Goals to stop your 3rd string rusher.

I know your having fun with the trash talk but what helped CC to a winning season?

Our kids are paying $200 per wrestler. What are other schools charging?

I'm wanting to see what inpact the young lady out of Cookeville will have in the next 4 years. I saw her make alot of boys upset in AAU over the last 3 yr's.

Thats just the facts. I don't think anyone has said that CC dosn't deserve to be there. Just that Farragut played a tuff schudule. What changed things around for CC this year? i think what changed it for Farragut was that there coach that his job was on the line.

Now that is over! I think this Certification has to be looked at. My son was told he could only loose 3 lbs this year. It is the second day of practice and he is down 4 lbs and within 3 lbs of the weight he should have been allowed to go to. My fear is that alot of smaller freshman are going to ge hurt having to wrestle up out of there natural weight class.

They have been 1 game away in the last 4 years! The owls have no history or class. They are still talking trash after getting beat by a Farragut team that didn't score a touchdown. Go back and check the threads. Your folks have the most replys. Even when you get your butt kicked your fols still talk trash. Your in for a real football game at DB. Great School that has great tradition and have been State and National Champs in a few sports. I don't think most of Farragut considers Karns the same rivalry as Bearden. Farragut and Bearde3n could play a game of Jacks and have a crowd there. It's good to see some Farragut folks getting excited about there team.

He was Hurt in a weekend Tourn in NC.
