It would be nice if tssaa used some gate money to have live stats posted on their site!
  3. I am not sure if this is still the case, but in 2005, Richard Hardy didnt even have a three point line. The out of bounds on one side of the court was two feet from the wall. The court was a good 20 feet shorter and there was only room for about 50-75 people in the two sections of bleachers.
  4. I am certainly not a coach. I am Matt Hisey, I was the previous manager between 2002-2005. I was very close to the situation and know all of the facts.
  5. I am very familar to the inside of this situation. I was a part of the program for many years and the truth is always not seen, This was comming before Coniglio was there, he might have been a freshman, but i believe he was still in 8 grade, not sure. This was happening in the 2004 and 2005 season and continued until the force out was unavoidable.
  6. Salter stepped aside willingly just like Fulmer stepped aside willingly. Both were pressured from the ranks above.
  7. Man that really stinks about William, I was really looking forward to seeing a couple of games and see what would happen with this team. He was so dominant as a sophomore and I was disappointed about that last year. I think this will completely destroy his college hopes in terms of recruiting. BUT, he has a great work ethic and I think that if he keeps a positive attitude even though that will be really tough, I could see him walking on somewhere and possibly getting recruited out of junior college. Coniglio... any knowledge on Central, I was planning going to the game, but I am not sure now. Has is Rashard doing? If he can step up and play very physical to have an inside game to complement Mario, then they can still make a run without William as hard as that will be.
  8. Seeing that CCS lost to Seq. Co. when everyone arouond thought that that would not have happened, I can see them getting a wakeup call and putting up impressive numbers against Hixson. CCS has too many talented players this season to lose district games on a regular basis. From what I have seen, I think that the team would be a lot better without the second season coach that they have, but coach or no coach, these kids can really play, should be an interesting game. I see CCS comming out on top though.
  9. Any new people coming up that could come off the bench? Looks like the starting five are set for next year if injuries dont play a factor.
  10. Yes the top four advance to the Region. Coniglio, what is the status of William? Is there something wrong with Mario, I noticed in the paper the final two games that he didn't score? Where is the Region being played this year?
  11. They have the lights and the poles, however; they will never be able to install them because the gravel road that runs between the baseball field on the vistors' side and the softball field is considered a city road and the city of Chattanooga will not allow the light to be on the closed road. They are hoping to have someone on the city commision offically close the road. This would also allow them to expand the gym behind the player's bench, which they desperatly need.
  12. Hey Conigilo, what is wrong with Stephen? I heard something about Williams knee. When is there return likely? I was looking forward to a good game Friday. Do we have a chance?? Thanks, Hisey
  13. if chattanooga christian wins it will not be an upset. 1 vs. 2 there really is not a favorite. The are even teams with CCS winning the first match. CCS' main strength in my opinion is their conditioning, i have seen few games, but they never seem to tire. That will be a huge advantage throughout the entire tournament, i do not know how well the other teams can play 3 games in 4 days. Any insight into stamina of the other seven teams?
