The Marshall/ Lewis game will be made up tomorrow at 4:30 in Marshall Co. The 2 aces for each club will be pitching tomorrow. Lewis Co's #22 and Marshall Co. #1. Should be a good game if each team can hold down the errors.

I was just wondering who was on the all district team and the pitcher of the year. Anyone have any information please post it

New update PageMan.....the page game for Tuesday and Thursday has been scheduled as a double header at Greer Stadium on Tuesday! Thats unbelievable for us Lewis Co. boys. Maybe this will finally be the chance for Lewis Co's hard working seniors to be seen. I'm not sure if the hard throwing righty Watson will throw...but Wills will for sure. If Watson does throw I can assure you...he will bring his nastiest stuff and of course the HEAT. Hopefully Coach Callicott will give him the opprotunity to throw a little off the hill tuesday.

Lewis Co. defeated Giles Co. 3-2 in the first game. Tim Watson was the winning pitcher. 0hits 3 walks 11k's. Giles' runs came from 2 fielding errors and a wild pitch. In the second game Lewis Co. defeated Giles Co. 4-3 in 9 innings. Lewis Co. had offensive production from all 9 players. Watson hit a homerun in the first to get the ball rolling. Seemed like Lewis Co. had runners in scoring position all night, just couldn't get that one hit to bust the game open. Great pitching in the second game by Drew Wills and Nathaniel Sublett. Way to go guys...keep it up

No we didn't play the game against Giles. I think we make it up this coming Wednesday. Not completly sure. I'll let you know when I hear from Coach. Post the score and highlights of the game when you can PageMan. Thanks

I've been very sick all week. I have strep throat and a form of scarlett fever. I got 2 shots and 4 prescriptions yesterday and am feeling alot better today. We play at Hickman Co. tomorrow. So i'm gonna try and play in that one, supposed to be pitchin tonight, but drew is going to. So if i play i'll pitch tomorrow.

There is a J.V. game before the varsity game. I believe the J.V. Game starts at 3:00. Go get 'em for me tonight guys, i'm gonna try and come back for our game tomorrow. Someone let me know how it goes. I'm sure PageMan will post everything for me. Tim #22

Lewis Co. wins 6-2. They came out hitting the ball had few fielding errors and had very good pitching throughout the game. Fairview pitched #10 i believe. Congratulations to Lewis Co.

Tim Watson and Drew Wills from Lewis Co. haven't signed with anyone yet....you haven't heard much from them yet...... Wills is batting around or about .500 right now along with Watson. This weekend Watson pitched a complete game 4 hit 11K shutout against a good AAA Smyrna team. Wills has talked about signing with Freed....and I have heard rumors of Watson being recruited by the Memphis Tigers????

Giles is to good....Cheatham doesn't have the size to match up with Giles Co. It's gonna be a Tyler Smith show. I say Giles by 15+

No one is mad at Hatton for playing. He's a good player...his skills just aren't advanced enough for varsity ball yet. He's not a good enough ball handler to play against a small,quick, scrappy defense like Marshall Co. Coach made a mistake....should have had someone with more experience in the game, in that kind of pressure situation. Lewis Co. will travel the tougher road now. I still believe they can do it though. Oh I heard a rumor about Lewis Co. blowing the game against Fairview tomorrow night in order to keep off of Giles Co. bracket in the region. Is this true?

Those are good picks......don't look past lewis co. if and when the basketball boys get back...they should be a pretty scrappy team and should be tough to beat if they pull together. Your 2 picks are the best teams out of that pool...ya never know about tha panthers

Well Welll.......what do you know....congrats Marshall Co. Didn't the Lewis Co. coach put in a freshman at the end of the game? Not a smart move......the little brewer kid needed to be in there.....why put someone in who can't handle the ball and your already down 2?? Not a smart move......and what about that watson kid...wasn't he a senior this year.....boy i bet the lewis co coachin staff could have used him then he was a pointguard if im remembering right.....What I'm gettin at is you don't put someone with little to no game experience in the game in that kind of pressure situation.....tha lil brewer boy should have been there.
