This is kind of off topic, but does anyone have pictures of Austin-East's new uniforms? I'd kinda like to see them.
I think AE is supposed to bust out the new uni's this Friday. However, the helmets will have a new look. Instead of the Roadrunner that's been on the helmet for sometime, they have a Roadrunner wing(Like the Philadelphia Eagles Helmets) deck out in Columbia Blue and white. It's straight it's just going to take some time to get used to.

Yeah tackling has been an issue for AE however, that was in the Jamboree. You peeps(Powell peeps) don't know how well the Runners tackled last week at Red Bank. Like I said when I first started this thread, "Judge AE not!!" The Jamboree is over and the Roadrunners are doing the little things they didn't do in the Jamboree now.
This game is going to come down to a PAT or a 2 point conversion.
KWALKER, It's official, I'll be on the sidelines. YEAH BOY!!!

Come on now!! Out of all those you name I think Rogan and Freeney will be a headache for the Roadrunners. I mean, Rogan just let it all out last year and I'm thinking he'll have another good game against the Roadrunners. However, I think the Roadrunners will outscore the Falcons. I'm saying the game is going to be close but like I've been saying since Saturday it's going to come down to a PAT or a 2 point conversion.

" Also, the prank of the day: I had my papers in the copier room ready to be copy and it read on one of my Papers, "GO AE beat Fulton." But the copier person, a Fulton Alumni, switched it to "Go Fulton beat AE" then she copied it. Now all of my papers are reading Go Fulton
I had to let you know about that one. I told you last night it would start today, didn't I?I'm also upset because my AE car flag flew off on the way to Chattanooga, now I don't have a AE flag to fly around in the Fulton community.

In my opinion, AE has the advantage because they played in a game last week. Fulton will have to overcome first game jitters, cramps, and the excitement of finally being on the field for a real game. The game will be close and honestly, I think it's going to come down to a PAT or a 2 point conversion. FYI:AE has a kicker this year Fulton doesn't

If I knew this was started, I wouldn't have started the other one. However, I'm picking the Roadrunners in a close one. AE has a kicker again this year and Fulton is looking for one. Therefore, it could come down to a PAT or whoever scores the most 2 points conversions.
Panthers08, I'm glad you're still hating on the Roadrunners but that's your opinion so I can't say anything. But on the real, give the Roadrunners some Respect!!!

I already know about the Red Bank game, I was there. The defense did a good job during the Red Bank game. The Offense showed signs of a GREAT TEAM. It was a big difference from the Jamboree.
I'm so ready for Friday, it ain't funny.

I think he's 2, 21 or he's 20 something. I know he has a 2 somewhere in his number I don't know all of the numbers yet due to the fact a lot of players has switch their numbers however, it's on!!!
Hinch and the rest of the transfers from Fulton are proud to be wearing that Columbia Blue and Scarlet Red.. That's what's UP!!!

There's a saying that goes, "Judge me NOT!" That's what I want to put in you Fulton Falcons mind. A lot of people has been saying, AE is lame because they didn't have a good showing in the Jamboree. Think what you want because now it's time for AE to show you what's up!!!
The talking has already begun with my neighbors laughing at the 6-3 victory for AE Friday. Then today, some of my church members were saying, "Fulton is going to blow AE out." Well, it's time and I'm ready to smile big because Yall DON'T KNOW!!! Keep on doubting the Runners and you're going to be in for a big shock!!!

AE, there have been about 5 people saying anything at all about the Powell team...how you can think an entire community and team is a certain way, good or bad, due to roughly 5, is completely beyond me. And all I've seen in the way of being on "cloud 9" is that most of the Powell people expected more out of AE. Most of Powell's fans thought they'd have an advantage upfront but would have trouble with their athleticism, and Powell didn't. AE just flat-out wasn't that good of a football team, it's that simple. Everyone I know doesn't think Powell has accomplished anything this year. They just know AE isn't very good this year.
That's their opinion and this is my opinion. If you don't like what I posted, tell the person who started this thread that he shouldn't have started if you can't accept everyone opinion. This has nothing to do with the Jamboree I'm just posting my opinion.

I'm with you. These Powell guys think they're the shesnick since they beat AE in the jamboree. I tell ya, they're all sitting on Cloud 9.

No doubt that would've been a good combination, however, Central didn't recruit him. You making it sound like Central recruits. I'm good friends with one of Central's coaches and I know that once they find out a kid isn't zone for their school they leave him alone. But you have to ask yourself, is that Stinson kid living in the Fulton zone? Another question is, will he stay at Fulton all 4 years. It's a school on Sutherland Avenue knocking at his door big time.

I understand it's a two-fold problem. Number one, the band hasn't quite polished the performance yet. Number two, it was going to cost an awful lot for such a short bus trip. I guess because of the high gas prices and all!
I imagine the thinking is that since this game isn't as important, as far as rivalry or postseason implications, as most of the other games it is probably the only game that can be sacrificed. Although, if gas prices get a lot higher they might have to cut some other games as well.
It's shocking but understandable. I hope the band can some kind of way find money to travel to the rest of the games. An AE game isn't as hype without the band. However, it will be up to us fans to really support the team this Friday. Roadrunner89, are you apart of the Roadrunner Touchdown Club? They're looking for members so let me know and I'll try to get you some information.

THe Marching Roadrunners will not be traveling to Chattanooga this Friday. I don't know why but that's kind of upsetting....
The band usually gets the team, cheerleaders, and fans hyped but I guess we have to do without this Friday. Maybe Brainerd could bring their band over
AE and Brainerd basically has the same school colors -
well i have to go with red bank in this one. From my experience they are the more physical team. As one of the dad's of one of the kids on our team said " i wish we could put every one of them in a suitcase and take em to every game." referring to AE. If we played AE every week we'd be 10-0 no problem. Red Bank is a pretty good little team but at the same time i believe we beat them something like 21-0 so either way neither one of these teams are on the same level as Powell but ill take Red Bank in a close one.
I'm glad you're judging AE on a Jamboree game. I lost all my respect for the Powell program off of your comments. I can't wait until Central and Maryville get up in the Panthers. I mean, your team isn't the best team in Knoxville and you all need to come down off of cloud 9. But you know what I'm not going to sweat it, the best of luck to your Panthers but I lost all respect for the Panther Program.
Oh by the way, my cousin played on one of Clark Duncan's team and I must tell him tonight I lost all respect for his old high school.

The question is, do you really think Buck would put those players in without any practice under their belts? I knew Cobb would dress but the other 2, that's like no. They shouldn't come back and start without any practice you feel me? But the best of luck to them. I'll be glad to see them on the sidelines or in the game.
