Good Luck to the Lady Tigers!

The Smith Coach congratulated all the Dekalb girls and their coaches,as well as prayed with them after the game. Why add negative comments (singling out a coach nonetheless) on an otherwise positive thread? The coach is a former Lady Tiger herself who supports the team, school, and school district. It is tacky to insult this young lady who has battled through her 1st season as head coach, coming from 6th to 2nd, with a seemingly agenda-hiden comment. She, her team, and coaching staff, as well as the Coach Bond and the ladies from Dekalb, have shown nothing but class all season, so why don't you give it a try?

the dugouts are rather large and do have a fence in front of them. the majority of the dugout does have a roof (it is a deep dugout, so if you sit underneath the roof, you are probably not going to be able to see anything), but there is a space between the fence and roof. i believe the player has a severe concussion, so definitely keep her in your prayers. She was sitting on a bucket in the part of the dugout that is not covered. the coaches have been urging the girls all week to be careful in there and it is unfortunate that this happened.

My Gville tigerettes are going to go all the way just like the guys. These girls have been overlooked b/c of the talent of the boys team. It's been 4 or 5 years since G'ville has won it all. With their shooting ability and tough defense, they should be able to pull out.See you tonight in Watertown! I wish I was playing!!!

G'ville has a good group of guys who are very talented. They are not just lucky. They know how to pull out a win in a last second, close ball game. Smart playing, Good shooting, and DEFENSE will be their guide to STATE!!!!!! Good luck guys!!! It's been too long since G'ville guys have represented. It's your turn!!!

Chad is doing better today. He gave a gag reflex and his eyes have twitched, two signs that they were looking for. Everyone please keep him and his family in your prayers. Chad I know you can pull through this. Just keep fighting sweetie! You are going to make it, I just know it. Remember that anything is possible with God!

C.J. Babcock from Gordonsville has knocked some heads loose this year!

This game will probably be one of the best in the state Friday night. Both schools have very good, respectable teams, and they both have the best spotsmanship in the state. Good Luck! GO TIGERS!

It's a shame that Smith County, a 3A school, prides itself on beating Gordonsville( NOT GordAnsville)a mere 1A school. The Tigers have heart. The owls do not. May the best team win!
