I agree, the DC PA guy was awesome. He was very entertaining, worked his crowd and had enough respect not to take pot shots at our players and not talk during the opponents cadence.....which is illegal. Dad, that was very good of you not to mention how big of a dirt bag that Simpson was from Fairview and their administration to allow Simpson to act as he does.....oops?!? I did also like DCs PA guy about the man in the white hat!

Great game Bobcats! Two very equally matched teams and when that is the case it typically ends as it did tonight....the team that wins the turnover margin wins the ball game. Good season DeKalb. Sure was a ton of TV time outs! I hope with all of those commercials they ran you can use that advertising money to get a new scoreboard. Who said Giles County hasn't played anyone.....Six 12AA teams made the playoffs and five survived the night....the only one that didn't survive lost to another 12AA team. Sure do hope #32's season is not over. Keep us updated WOMG. Good job Bobcats! Can't wait to get to go back to "The Brickyard" Friday night. Lets keep this train rolling!

WOMG, can you get word out to DADX5 to not let the boys use that coleman heater in the back of the trailer.....don't want to catch the picnic tables on fire on the ride to the game. Wish we could have gotten a bus for the GC boys to ride on instead of the back of that trailer. I'm gonna type real slow so you can keep up...DeKalb finished at #7 in the AP rankings, GC finished #10. Not sure where you came up with #4 and not ranked?!? None of that matters anyway because rankings don't mean squat....wins do. If the rankings were what mattered we would just send the gold ball to Greeneville now wouldn't we? So somehow those Smithville folk know all about how bad GC is and we're not even as good as a bad 5-5 White Co team or a 5-5 Macon. I can see where that word is out though, because we have been bad for 5 or 6 years now. I'm just glad we aren't as bad as we were in our low of lows two years ago. That was a miserable year. I would have to agree with that word a little bit though....our kids aren't prepared, we are real small and about as slow as any team could have. I sure hope Trapp and Co has a little mercy on our boys.

I was looking at that last night, good stuff. Only thing they lacked was putting in the playbook. Impressive stuff all that lifting and those 40s. Dekalb, you should have this one in the bag. The only time GC does 40s is when the boys are racing to get out of practice. They all race from the barn they change clothes in to the parking lot to see who can leave first. Rock...didn't you measure that and say it was about 40 yards?!? Wish we would do a little more organized lifting also. The only real lifting is at Timmys house when the coaches let the boys out of practice early. The lifting at school is when the coaches put them thru the bench press contest on Mondays. Hey WOMG, are you organizing the weight repair at the end of the season? Those plastic covered weights sure have some big cracks in them. I think the General Pro Hardware is giving the school some duct tape to fix the cracks in the plastic on the weights and some sand to fill them back up. The boys sure are likeing all that sand missing though...cuz it looks like they are lifting more than they actually are.

I'm not writing them off but I did notice that DeKalb Co has not beat a team with a winning record. Best they have done is beaten two teams with 5-5 record. They did put up 30 points on undefeated Smithville. What I am concerned with the most at this point is our bus making it all the way up there. I sure wish the coach would allow us parents to drive the boys. The only reason we have managed away games thus far is because we've been within 1.5 hours of our opponents.....when we drove that far the darn thing was smoking and sputtering like crazy. It cooled off during the game allowing the thing to start and probably wouldn't have if they didnt park it on that hill. That was the night the boys got home about two in the morning because the bus quit running in Columbia and they had to let it cool off for about an hour.

A bit of useless information...... GC and LC first played in 1953. From 1953 to 1992 GC leads the series 14-7-2. LC won in 03' and 04' GC has won the last two years 21-0 and 22-0...making the series GC 16-9-2. I did not realize these two teams have played that many times......i guess because the lack of games over the last 20 years. I like the last two being shutouts. Also like that GC defense this season is averaging giving up 11.8 points per game. Take out the 4th quarters when we play the bench and that looks pretty good for our starters. GO BOBCATS!!

He is #1 in interceptions and middle of the pack on completion % and they are 2-6....will those stats get him anywhere? rock...you say you think you know what the problem is?!?! Why what on earth could that be? I was reading the newspaper today and in the want ads was a coaches position. It said to apply within....within one of the gas stations where we have a petition to fire the current coach. Just fill out the applications on the clip board by the register...they will be behind the petition to fire our current coach. Do you really think you will find a good coach to replace the one you have with all of the parent drama and petitions? Not to appealing! I believe their are a lot better ways to go about getting a coach....if that is core of the problem! "This coach (King) is a nice guy"....so bashing and badmouthing is how you treat nice guys!?!?

Hang in their SummaryJudgement, people with any sense realize you guys are made up of freshman and sophomores and could have very easily taken the easy road and played just freshman and JV games. Instead your coaches decided to get additional experience with the varsity schedule. I believe in carma....what comes around goes around. GC actually had several new freshman...#5,#10 and others getting time after it was 14-0. By the way Summary, you may want to carry a headset radio and listen to the Fairview game that way. JUNO is not the only Fairview individual with NO class. The Fairview administration allows some NO class dirtbag named Simpson to use a PA microphone every Friday night. He makes NO class comments about opponents players and yells after the referee winds the clock and your QB is at the line of scrimmage in his cadence. Like I said, hang in their...Summit has a lot of YOUNG athletes and a couple of more years and those boys will be returning some of those lumps. Good Luck!

WOMG...will you please get with Coach OC and beg him to make those boys put some clothes on. I know he has them wearing helmets, but those sumo outfits have some people around the community really talking. Coach has got to realize what will be said if he lets them go to Lewis Co looking like that.

48-6 GC. GC scored on 73 yard run on first offensive play then scored on a pass play on the first play of second series. Starting the third series GC put in some new faces. Can't wait to see Summit when they have a senior class in two years.

Hey WOMG...I was over that way hauling some stuff to the dump....I saw the same score....don't know if you noticed but they had the clock running and it was still 5:30 left in the 3rd quarter. Not sure what they had the final as...but dang they aren't expecting anything out of Lewis Who?!?!

Everybody needs to say a little prayer for DadX5 and his family. He has been in St.Thomas since Tuesday with some heart issues. Apparently he had heart failure. He is doing ok but they are running test because his heart isn't pumping correctly. Gonna be a little quieter tomorrow night at the game without that airhorn blowing!
