  1. Just watch for number 21, dont let him get any thug shots on yalls boys when yall play.
  2. I was at the game and seen it as well did Coach Rewis who Fv says that respect so much....ask him if you dont believe it.
  3. Here comes all star district12 to add is two sense. The head stomping was on our sidelines. And yes the film does show it.
  4. So far it looks great, idk how it compares to the other team's in the district. The only other team in this district I have seen play, was Marshal when we played them last week. Our passing game was ok that game, with 2 big pass plays and some smaller ones. In my opinion, our passing game is just as sound as our run game. One of our Wr's has 260 yrds receiving off 8 catches and 4 touchdowns going into tomorrow night's game. I wouldn't say all of our Wr's are on point, but we have a Qb who can sling it and a Wr or 2 who can go up and make big catches. To answer the question, we will pass just as much as we run. From what i understand, Giles has an amazing Qb, will we see mainly big pass plays tomorrow night? Or a lot of mixture between the run and pass game?
  5. Hickman County not only beat Marshall, They had to beat the refs as well. Way to go Hickman County!!!!
  6. Every Hickman County fan, go to news channel 4's website and go to sports and to the Farm Bureau Touchdown Friday player of the week award. Quarterback Zach Roberts is a finalist for this week. He had 190 yards and 2 touchdowns. I know the poll says 1 touchdown. But it is incorrect. I was at the game it was 2 touchdown passes. 1 to Wr Hunter Tanner and the 2nd to Wr Joe Villerial. All Hickman fans (EAST included) go vote for him lets make an athlete from HICKMAN COUNTY the player of the week! The link is below to the poll. You can vote once a day through Thursday. So vote on your phones laptops and every computer you can find so he wins. Tell your friends. Player of the Week Poll
  7. People kill me how they bad mouth coaches. When coach Jones was at East,(my junior and senior years) A BUNCH of parents were on here bad mouthing him too. But i agree how the school board ran him off, just like they ran coach Patterson and Courtney off. 2 of the best coaches I ever had the chance of playing for. I know both these guys personally. Great people great coaches. Regardless, during the season is NOT a time to bad mouth the coach, nor a time to try to find a new one. Makes things worse and when the kids hear the parents bad mouthing the coach , it makes them have a negative attitude toward the coach thus a negative influence on the season (LOSING GAMES). Which was one of the problems at HC last year. A bunch of unhappy parents because coach Patterson did not put their kid in the position the "parent" thought they should be. Heck my senior year Patterson put us in the Spread offense and after we lost by 1 point to Marshall county Nash called the coaches and told them if they did not go back to Coach Swenson's double wing or some type of I formation they would all be looking for a new job...mmmmm... Food for thought about the Hickman County School Board.
  8. LOL! coming from someone who has probably never stepped foot on a football field besides to play the flute. NEVER said the refs did not run the clock genius. I said the person (meaning ref) who ran the clock only ran it when it was convenient for Marshall county. We watched film along with our coaching staff and the clock never ran on multiple occasions. yet the game still ended when the scoreboard ran out of time. Never taking off the time that the clock was not being ran. Marshall gained nearly 5 minutes of clock time because of the clock not running. Back to the Officials, I've seen the same group of Officials at team's fields on several different occasions. Including our own home field. Marshall just usually seems to have a "worse" group of refs than many other teams. Coincidence? maybe... SHAKING MY HEAD!!! <-- now thats funny.
  9. Sick of all the talk about Summit. Yeah i'm sure if they got to stay in our division and in 3A for a few more years they would be really good. BUT*** they will not be staying 3A in 2 years the number of students in the high school will go up extremely and they will be moved up, with better teams. As far as this year, Fairview will whoop Summit, and make a deep run into the playoffs.
  10. ha ok. I didnt mean bribe I meant to erase that part. I didnt mean they called the game for Giles so they could win. I mean they threw way too many flags. And majority of them going against HC in the 4th quarter when we were already losing by 30 something. With awful calls like the intentional grounding while the QB was getting hit and out of the pocket with a WR 5ft from where the ball landed. 3 excellent reasons that can not be called intentional grounding. Marshall does have an awful ref staff and clock crew. My senior yr 09' we played 5 quarters of football against Marshall and no we didnt go into OT. How does that happen? The clock crew only ran the clock when it was convenient for Marshall, allowing them to come back and take the lead.
