Thanks for all the love......! lol Let me say for the record I have never talked badly about any player ever on coach T. The sportsghost dude from west tennessee. I made a post about a year ago. stating that the teams that you thought would win the State Tournament, McNairy and Liberty, had not played any competition outside their district, therefore it was a little early to talk about how your teams would dominate the state. I was correct. check the facts. I am sorry you took this as me being ugly. The comments I made this season regarding Obion County, Gibson County, Milan and westview, are similar, the have beaten only one team outside their district that is considered to be possibly tops in the state. (Marshall). They have a post saying their district tournament is the states mini final four. As of last night either Gibson County or Obion County will not make it to the state tournament because they will have to play each other in the second round of the region. I still believe milan and Gibson/Obion will be two of the toughest teams to beat come region and state. I think that giving other teams through out the state some respect would be something you might teach the parents who come on here and blab. Then maybe they would understand that everyone comes to play in the state. Every time you blab off about west tennessee you are disrespecting teams from middle tennessee and east tennessee. So just like last year you did not believe the facts or the stats and you spouted and you went home. I think if you check my posts I have been factual, the only time I have taken shots at you or anyone else is when you were wrong and it was proven. Well If your life is about calling people who quote you the facts spineless and arrogant, you could not be me. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings. I have not said anything about the players at CPA. I have used the stats to prove my argument. I guess when you dont like the truth you resort to 5th grade name calling. If you want to teach "your" kids about reality you might start by telling them the truth. It is amazing that there is even an argument here, Take a deep breath and take a look at the facts. If i did the rankings then you could say I was being unfair or I was an imbecile, but the facts are within this web site. I have not made anything up about CPA. The Rankings on Coach T are acutal factual based upon your scores record and are not subject to interpitation. Everything I have quoted in my posts is your actual record. Sorry

I think that there is a strong argument for GC, Obion, or Milan to make it into the state tournament. Its almost a given. I just hate to see you guys overlook 7AA and everyone else.

I said hire (better?) a coach. I think the Ad has done a great job after the quick departure of his head coach. Where you getting your information? This team was ranked first in district 9AA by "on the Ball" magazine, there is no way they were ranked last anywhere. His winning streak is actually 9 games. Good luck in the District. We will see how bad the region is. I LOVE CPA...does that make you all happy! I will have to say these post from the CPA fans have been great...they are the funniest fans ever, they have no idea of reality, but they are funny. I will say this is the best 32 ranked 16-12 team out there and your uniforms look nice. rofl P.S. while I am at it...the visitors sit across from the scorer's table in every gym in the country.

If I was ugly by telling you that McNairy and Liberty would not advance, this was not being ugly...this was being right! You folks should stop lying to yourself. I can guarentee you that lipscomb fans do not claim me. This could be the funniest post all year. The person you heard announcing the upset the loudest was me. But last year when you guys were trashing upperman, austin east, Marshall and Lipscomb, I simply told you that these teams would send your arrogant teams home. Thats what they did. Get over it. Thats what I said. Its just a shame that a girl like Ross had to sit for 2 years or play sparingly. Not looking for a fight with the lipscomb faithful, its not my fault you got knoced out by East. I think it was Mr. Gaither who made a comment about MTCS beating Ezell and that being the Biggest upset of 9aa until East beat Ezell. Dont even hear a cricket chirping now. If my team had been beaten by Ezell twice, and east had beaten ezell, I dont think we would overlook east. I think folks in 9aa are getting a preview of what is to come from east. Good luck to east, and ezell in the next round.

Sorry I had fallen out of my chair laughing so hard at the coaches posts that I never saw your post. Why would it have not mattered that against like opponents matchups that Humefogg had beaten Lipscomb and CPA had not. Duly noted.

You said I was all knowing! I never said that. I am not impressed with any team that CPA beat other than Ezell. I was suprised that FRA and Lipscomb beat cheatham, station camp and others, I did not think this district was that good. I would love to give them credit for such an "impressive" victory over ezell, But, I dont think it can be Impressive with Mcalister and Hambrick out for the game. The only team from 9AA that can possibly advance out of the region is Ezell. If anyone else does it would be a major upset. Sorry if you think differently, but look at CPA, and HumeFogg against possible sub-state and state opponents, they have been beaten by 20+, cpa by 40+. You think I dont know what I am talking about..who cares. CPA did get lucky when a coin toss put them in third and placed them in a bracket where East upset Lipscomb. Have you seen Lipscombs record with CPA? now those are facts. You talk about credibility, CPA will beat east maybe, they will get beat in the finals of the district, they will lose to either Marshall or Lewis county...badly. Coach you guys beat 8 teams that are average at best. Thats the truth. Ask anyone not affiliated with CPA and they will tell you the Obion County, Gibson County, Upperman, LA (of course you got to see them up close)Station Camp, Marshall County are teams to beat. The record shows that with the exception of the Ezell win CPA has not beaten anyone who would be considered upper teir or state tournament qualified. You should still send East roses. If you beat Ezell with all of their players playing I will send you roses. Heck if you beat Marshall or Lewis county I will send you roses. Dont get mad coach, just go out and win....oh and about your younger team....I can think of only one word......ensworth. I should be on here saying that CPA has the best team in the state....except since I need credibility I will say that out of 111 aa teams that CPA played the 83rd hardest schedule. They are 53rd out of 111 in success ratings, hume fogg is 47th. Against the 83rd toughest schedule in AA they have amassed an impressive 16-12 record. Placing them in 32 overall place. With the best 8 expected to go to murfreesboro I would see them as a lock. lol

PHULEEEEEEEZEEE The mini state tourney..lol You are giving every team in 7AA poster board material Keep blowing that smoke and your girls will get sent packing in the first round of the state. I will bet you 1 million trillion Doll Hairs that you wont have 4 teams in the state tourney. One of you (Milan, GC, OC) won't make it out of the region.

Congratulations to Leah McAlister from Ezell Harding. Against Martin Luther King last night she scored her 2000 point. This give her an opportunity to become the all time points leader at Ezell Harding, she already has the girls record and may be able to get the boys as well. I think she has missed about 15 games to injury over the past two seasons. Great girl and a great player You should be AA Miss Basketball!

Lipscomb should not have lost Pearl cohn should have lost The coaches over at East should be happy,the future is looking bright, their young team of sophomores, have knocked off two teams thought to be pretty good. I think this gives them 4 district wins. Their out of control style could cause problems for Giles or Marshall County in the region. The upside is that over the next two years if the coaches will commit to developing these tallented young ladies not only can they make it to the state championship, some of them could be looking at D-1 scholorships. What these girls have going against them is that the attend a Metro School and usually the coaches don't follow through and the girls dont get any better over the next two years. So what are you gonna do PC? (Not pearl cohn) Now on the otherhand over at CPA, the win over Pearl Cohn was expected. This team has proven that against state caliber teams, like LA that they can lose them by 40+. Unlike East there does not seem to be a bright spot on the Horizon for CPA. They must first higher a Coach. If their committed pay him/her some of that Maddux money. Second they probably should try and talk the 8th grader into staying. This team has beaten East 2 times and it will be hard to beat them a 3rd. I still dont understand why all of you brilliant coaches dont just zone East and make them beat you outside. They are young and have yet to develop an outside game. Once they develop an outside shooting game, this team will be unbeatable..I digress. Cpa got a great draw into the tournament, I hope you coach send roses over to east for knocking off lipscomb. East should look at all of their extra games as practice for the future, Cpa should count themselves as lucky to be here. The real suprise is Hume Fogg. What a great season for the #3 team in the district. Knocking off FRA with Canaday was an impressive win. Keep up the great play and have fun in the region. I too believe that Ross is a great player and a great girl. Lipscomb playing a "System" where you wait you turn weather you are great or not is her only downfall. I am sure she will go to college somewhere for grades or basketball, but if she were given the chance McAlister got when she transfered to Ezell in 7th grade this would be a much closer race. If Mcalister had not left lipscomb, instead of getting her 2,000 point last night. She too would have been only getting her 1,000. I also should say that I am not picking on the coach at Lipscomb, he has a system that has worked for him, but sometimes you gotta know when you have a great player and that system goes out the window. Congratulations to east high school on their big win at Lipscomb. Keep up the good work! welcome to the region. Big game against cpa at mlk on friday. Great win for Hume Fogg, congratulations on sending home FRA, Hume Fogg has put together a great season in the district and deserves a chance at the regions. Cpa continues to play close and tough, their inside game has been very productive. It was alot of free throws that got them the OT win against pearl cohn. Ezell in a rout, I think the manager scored in this one. Congratulations to Leah Mcalister on her going over the 2000 point mark setting her sights on the Ezell all time record.

Okay so tonight Hillsboro completed an undefeated season. After seeing them play back at the overton christmas tournament I went on coach T and told everyone that this team would go undefeated. I have also gone on the gold ball thread and stated that Hillsboro would play for the AAA Championship. There is no denying when a team is this great. I know that everyone praises the 3 best players on your team, but to the other 2 starters and the first couple off the bench I would like to say congratulations. You have created match-up problems with everyone because all of this team can contribute. Thats why you can't double team, because the person left open will score on you. I would have to say that the top two teams in this district are head and shouders above the rest in this district. the 3 and 4 region seed from district 9AA will be tougher for Lewis and Marshall, then the teams in 10AA. The two region teams from 5AA will advance far into the tournament. Good luck to the tigeretts....see you guys in a couple of weeks

lol you are hilllllllarious, I don't have any Idea who you are talking about. This is a girls thread. Why would you talk about the boys team and think I would understand. rof...Are you talking about Dan wilkerson? I think it was a smart move for him to talk to GP, the job was open and he had a bit of history there. I will let you know that if Dan Wilkerson walked up and said hi to me, I would have no Idea who he is. You have me mistaken.....not only that you have me mistaken for someone who you think might care...thanks...lol I needed the laugh! P.S. there is potential at Goodpasture for a Coach who can develop players, I think that with this schools history in High School athletics, it would be a great opportunity for someone to build a program that could compete in AA.

Well the post you were quoting was about CPA and I have always said that Ezell got "beat" at east. go back and read the posts. I dont play for Ezell, so I did not get beat. Ezell took the lead without Mcalister and was leading when she returned, she was suffering from a concussion and made turnovers that cost ezell the game. She then was out for 10 days. You probably did not notice because everyone was High -Fiving each other on the bench and in the crowd when players got knocked to the ground. Of course the folks that got knocked around when the game was at ezell, was East lit. You seem to think you know who I am. I would not know what the stipend at MTCS is although I do know that they have a program that will begin to control A ball over the next 5 years they will be a force, I believe Mtcs probably has booster money. If I knew what Dan's user name was I would give it to you. But this is not it. lol P.S. enjoy the rest of the season off after monday night.
