Chattanooga Christian. I have some kids from my church that attend there and I'm wishing them the best this year. To be honest, I haven't even seen a high school basketball game in nearly 2 years, but I attended Shelbyville Central and will most likely always pull in that direction as well. Thanks! I heard a rumor that Coach Insell's old assistant coach (Tim Fleming, who's now in Georgia) had been contacted . . . that'd be an interesting district matchup!

Road to the Championship Brackets

I don't believe in the tooth fairy, but I do believe in the exceptionally thorough years of arduous work Coach Insell has invested into the Shelbyville program. Hard work always pays off and it did tonight as well. Congrats to Columbia on winning the district tournament and good luck to the Eaglettes tomorrow night! Whoooooodoyouthinksgonnabeatthatteam?

I haven't seen a single girls basketball game this year. But, I do know that when a team goes "ice cold," it's usually due to more than just shooting. I'm thinking of a word that starts with D and ends with "fence." Of course, I could be wrong . . .

That's what I'm hoping I'll have time to do something with for next year. Once the regions are set, having a "Tournament of Champions" of sorts to see who is the best at picking the entire post-district-post-season. I'm not sure on all of the programming for it, but hey, I've got a year to learn! lol See you all at the girls state!
