Oh and Congrats to Pickett co. I think its been 10 straight years of making it to the district championship game.

Upchurch had a good game, thats what put clarkrange over the edge, and jackson co. has no big guys down low that could deal with Snow and there other big guys. Pickett Co. has everything that matches up with Clarkrange, two big guys, a scorer to match Upchurch, and defense that will shut down clarkrange.

Yeah they beat #1 Friendship last year and still didn't make it to sub-state. Best of my memory Pickett did. Friendship would have been no better than 4th in our district last year. You've got big words for a team who can't finish any better than 3rd.

Don't think coach's can change there vote, Cassitty played well through the season, jacob showed he can do it night in night out, and he can bring it when it comes play off time as well.

Watched a series of great ball games last night. Capped off by a spectacular preformance from pc's Jacob Wright. On a night when the Brent Logan and James Gibson really didn't have their a or b game, Jacob Wright drops 40 pts on Clay Co., almost out scoring them by himself. T.C. and Roddy both had there usual preformances combining for 20 pts. Jacob showed all of district 7a what a real mvp plays like last night. If Jacob and our posts continue to play like this through out tourny time, I sure do like our chance of winning the whole thing.

Jc doesn't match up that well with PC...Look at what PC did against Clay Co. and What Clarkrange did against JC. If Jacob puts up 40 like he did last night, and PC will use there big men against JC, JC won't win the ball game. JC's big men don't match up well with PC's, but it'll be a great game if it happens. JC has done great the last two years during the regular season, but what has happened to them in both post seasons in 7A up to this point?..... choked. Good luck to every team in 7A.

I don't think it had anything to do with pc not wanting to clarkrange to win, but I'm sure those boys and fans from pc were wanting a rematch with JC, plus JC losing now puts them in the same bracket as PC if they both win on tuesday night, that is. If they both were to win their first round games of the region then they'll meet up in the 2nd round and now instead of in the championship if they were both lucky enough to get there, in a win or go home situation.

I happen to think the hair is hott on alison, especially the other night at cookeville. You just don't like it cause its different, it tells me that she's not afraid to go against the crowd. One of the hottest players in the upper cumberland as far as I'm concerned, her having game sure helps in that hottness factor as well.

I won a hermitage spring pee wee boys tourny with pickett co. back when I was back in 6th grade, which capped off our perfect season. I made a trip to hermitage springs every year I was in high school, most if not all of those games weren't gonna be close, the only reason I made that long track across three counties for the last three years of my high school years was for that wonderful consession stand. More schools should take a hint from hermitage springs, and help out there consession stand. I sure hope clay co. gets the people that were responsible for that consession stand. Thank you for the memories.

I agree that it will be a heck of a game devil, but your wrong on that whole foul situation. John Sells and James Gibson fouled out in the 4th quarter, T.C. fouled out in the first overtime, Jacob wright, we all agree is the large majority of pickett's points production, fouled out in the first min of the 2nd ot and he was replaced by a kid who never plays exp for 15-20 pt blow outs. Cody Elmore also didn't play in that game for pickett due to his ankle injury, not as good as the Crowder kid but he is really good at eating up mins, and is a fair enough player. Good luck to all district 7A teams.

Yeah I guess p.c. never gets the short end of the stick as bad as jackson co. does. PC has had it just as bad if not worse. I'm not saying jackson didn't get it bad friday night, but we get the short end of the stick more times than not.

Ah, now j.c. knows what p.c. goes through basically every night of the season, at least you don't see us getting on here making posts like CRIME COMMITTED AT PICKETT CO. , officials slaughter kids hard work... you'll see us complain, probably more than most, and usually its rightfully so, but we don't come up with crazy new post topics such as this. So no more giving us flack for complaining about the refs, you people are just as bad for your team as we are for ours.

I wouldn't hand it to jackson just yet, three of pc's best players were on the bench during the last of those 2 ot's. Not saying jackson won't win, but lets not hand them the district just yet.

I never want to hear another jackson co. fan talking about pickett co. fans getting on here and complaining about the refs, you all are just as bad if not worse. I've never seen a pickett fan type that much about how bad refs are. Nothing wrong with complaining about the refs, i just don't want to see anymore about j.c. fans on here dogging us p.c. fans for complaining about the refs.

You obviously didn't get to watch much of p.c. this season. Especially friday night at albany, they wouldn't even have been in consideration if jacob hadn't been in the ball game with his 34. According to everyone who follows j.c. says they won't lose much when cassity is gone next year, I guarentee that all of us who follow p.c. baskettball won't be saying the same when jacob graduates. I still think cassity was deserving, just not as much as jacob...but congrats to tyler anyway.

I think this is pretty close to right, I would change the mvp because i don't think cassitty's numbers are good enough for mvp and I don't think he means as much to his team as jacob wright does, but congrats to him for winning it. The only other real change I would have is I would switch Brett Roddy and T.C., I think Roddy has played better throughout the season.

77-69 Moore co. Anyone see this game? how good is moore co?

I think the score was 73-58, but it was alot closer than that score says, pickett kept it close until the fourth quarter and then went ice cold, I think they had 45 points going into the fourth and only ended up with 58, and i'm guessing 8 of those points were off free throws. Jacob wright had 34 last night, and Roddy had 10 i believe, both played very well, but t.c. got in foul trouble as always and only had 2 pts. I don't believe I've ever seen someone be as cold as brent logan was. I was surprised that he has 2 pts, He couldn't make a wide open lay up. I don't believe a single three pointer was made in the entire 2nd half. The Choat kid probably did have 20 but i'm guessin 16, if not all of them where layups and free throws. The rest of the players for pickett better show up come tourney time or its gonna be a quick exit for region. Gibson played alright, but logan is going to have to play better under pressure, and t.c. is gonna have to quit making stupid decisions and getting fouls so early in the game.

HWY 111 to HWY 127, that pretty much takes ya right to it, its probably more like 10 miles...i was a little off on my calculation. It probably takes me 20 mins to get to the gym.

I think its gonna be jc and pc in the championship. I believe everyone expects and wants that to be the championship. It would be alot easier for pc if jc did lose to clarkrange, but I think pc wants a chance to redeem theirselves against jc.
