I understand what you are saying but like the scout said the state is loaded with talent its too bad it has to be overlooked though----and about Cale he has showed me nothing and i guess he will get that chance tonight against plumlee in the dist 3-AAA game so far in high school Plumlee has done nothing own him at the plate... this could be fun tonight!!! lots of potential

I can't beleive Cale has done this there are so many other great players i have seen in our district alone this year... obviously these people have never seen the glove of derek treece or how quick his hands are its incredible. What about Waldrop from Farragut (dist 4-AAA) i know of a few players who have been over looked by these so called "all-american" team- but hey i guess if you have the politics and money then you got it made- OH AND NOT TO MENTION IF YOUR DAD OWNS THE YARD i guess you gotta know the right people when it comes down to it

I hope Oak Ridge wins everyone hates Karns send them home I dont even care who wins the tourny as long as karns doesn't make it the championship so that will make there season over with

HTV, with cummings at 6-2 im not taking anything away from him but i had to leave him off of my all district team he has had a great year but also we have to recall plumlee's 7-1 season from last year when he was a junior and he still managed to be left off of the KIL team. and cole patrick----yes he should definatly make all KIL he just slipped my mind.... and sure Iorg has had a good season but i was looking more as to how he played against our district---still not impressed but yah he will make it because it goes on over all stats

Powell has the easiest road to the region tourney. I'll go out on a limb and say Karns road isn't as easy they have the hardest first round game of anyone having to play a hot Oak Ridge team who is known to destroy teams dreams in the district tournament!!!

Ownby to me is not pitching as well now as he was at the beginning I'd put my money on seeing Landon Chester the kid has improved a lot this season

Who got the loss for farragut last night?

HONESTLY LETS BE REALISTIC FARRAGUT IS NOT GOING TO LOOSE AND I KNOW THE SAYING ANY TEAM ON ANY DAY THATS WHY YOU PLAY THE GAME BUT FARRAGUT WILL NOT BE RUNNER-UP IN THEIR DISTRICT I'LL GO AHEAD AND SAY BEFORE ITS ALL SAID AND DONE THEY WILL RISE TO NUMBER ONE IN THE NATION CAN I GET AN AMEN?

Powell has the easiest road to the championship if there is such a thing... they play the winner of clinton/campbell county then if they win that they go on to play the loser of halls central then the winner of that game goes onto the championship... one thing is for sure i feel sorry for the team who gets runner-up and has to play farragut first round in region (OUCH!!!)

sideburnz once again you obviously have never seen kirkland play because compared to iorg even though they play to completly different positions he is on a whole other level by himself he will go late first-early second the kid is incredible the next one to be drafted will be waldrop. I have some information from the scouts that at the beginning of the year they loved iorg and wanted to draft him but his presence isn't as wanted now as it was a couple of months ago he will get drafted though i mean there almost 60 rounds in the draft!!!

i think that plumlee is throwing friday also. this will give him enough rest for the championship game

it will be a good game considering the circumstances that the teams are playing for, but i think that powell should come out on top. Powell is throwing their ace, PLUMLLEE! Does any one know who Campbell County plans to throw.

they are 5-6 right now and they play clinton still so if they loose they will tie if they win central will be ahead

Coach Lawson and COach Porter at Powell get my vote they are a true mans man

well 48 if it is not the highest it is close to it i know the teams from middle tennessee like oakland and germantown could probably contend with that record

sideburnz- the only joke on this site is your statement kirkland is hitting .400 and has a lil over 40 rbi's and his skill behind the plate is truly something to be whitnessed i have seen both play and Kirlands release, timing, and accuracy on his throws are incredible its rumored he will be in the top 6 round as far as Cale Iorg goes... NOT IMPRESSED I have seen him play three times this year in all three i saw him go 2-4 (with questionable hits/errors) 0-3, and 0-2 sure the kid is skilled in the field but no as far as i have seen he is no more skilled then a few kids i have seen around here to me he is carrying a name until i see him prove himself.... sorry but thats just what i have seen i am in no way trying to put down or belittle anyone

This week has been crazy Powell first faced off against Oak Ridge and lost, then Halls looses to Oak Ridge so All Karns had to do was beat Central or Halls to win their respective district. It didn't happen. That means if Powell were to win next Monday at Campbell County there will be a tie for first place. The tie breaker for the #1 seed in the tournament will come down to head-to-head competition (karns beat powell once and vice versa) SO that means (correct me if I'm wrong) the tie breaker will come down to overall record (powell 15-13) (karns 12-19) which means Powell will claim the number 1 seed karns the number 2 halls the number 3 the rest is still undecided but regardless this last week has seen some excellent pitching from zach helton and especially Willie Buchanan who contained Karns last night very well he also kept Cale Iorg to 0-3 with a walk and a strikeout it was a truly outstanding performance last night by Buchanan.
