Halls can't score???? They are hitting really well. Im telling you right now the hit the ball and score runs better than SD. I have watched both teams play and If I had to choose I would rather play SD than Halls anyday but thats just me. Dont get me wrong here im not saying SD isnt a good team they are. I just see Halls as a better team all around and I dont see SD hitting LOCKWOOD

Halls hits the ball better than SOuth Doyle and Halls is throwing a better pitcher than SD. Im telling you if Halls plays defense they are an all around better team and will win this game

Ok Gameday you are right you have seen Waldrop and Catapono but you also didnt ever score more than 2 runs???? Im telling you Lockwood is the real deal when its tourney time, but I guess you will just have to find out yourself. You may ave seen good pitchers but you didnt score hardly any runs so that doesn't show me anything???

Gameday I don't see that happening they didnt hit Powell's # 5 pitcher and hes nothing compared to Lockwood trust me. SD's top two pitchers don't come close to matching up to Lockwood and Larson. SD just dont impress me swinging the sticks but who knows they may prove me wrong but I just dont see them hitting the two top dawgs

Gameday I don't see SD hitting Lockwood. I think Lockwood will be enough for Halls to advance to reghion title game. Halls is playing really well and hitting the ball everywhere. If Lockwood does get in trouble Halls can bring In larson because Im pretty sure he will be ready by Monday to throw again. He is just as good as Lockwood but throws harder, he throws 89-90. I don't see SD hitting the two top dawgs of Halls. Halls 5 SD 2

WHats everybodys thoughts on the Region Game between Halls and SD?? My opinion is Halls will win this game by a couple runs. Halls is playing excellent baseball right now and with Lockwood throwing lights out and being the old Lockwood I don't see Halls getting beat. South Doyle is a good team but they don't hit the ball all that well. I saw Powell play SD a couple times this year and they just didnt impress me all that much, but dont take this the wrong way they are definately a good team. I would love to see Halls win this game so they get a substate game no matter what happens in the region championship! Halls has a great chance to advance to Sub-state and state! Goodluck Halls represent 3AAA Pitchers will probably be Lockwood vs. Holland (two young guys will great futures and tons of talent)

COngratulations to Halls on repeating as District 3AAA tourney champs. Great Job guys you all are playing well. Represent our district well, you all should beat SD if you come ready to play and Lockwood is lights out like he has been the last 2 starts. I don't see Karns beating Farragut with Waldrop on the mound which I dont really see anybody beating them with Waldrop throwing. But I wish Karns and Halls the best of luck and represent 3AAA

Since the tourney is now came to and end. Somebody announce who made the all district team for 3AAA

Well I think coming out of the region will be Halls and Farragut. Halls is playing great ball right now and with Lockwood on the mound I dont see Halls getting beat by SOuth Doyle. Lockwood is back to the old Lockwood who comes focused and pitches a heck of a game. Halls vs. Farragut is my picks.

Well guys I agree that it got out of hand after the game. Although there is a problem with what went on. Karns won fair and square nobody had anything to say about it. But when Powell lost coach lawson had a talk with all the seniors to say the goodbyes and everything which took a good 30 minutes before the player got off the field. The seniors for Powell were very emotional and stayed out there talking for a few minutes afterwards. By the time they reached the parking lot which was enough time for Karns to already be gone for a good while they were still waiting for some people from Powell's team. Which definately is not neccessary because they won fair and square and nothing was needed to be said. I don't know about all you people but if people surround somebody's car waiting on them thats pretty immature and they need some growing up to do. But I just hope everyone will just play the game and enjoy high school sports. Goodluck to both Halls and Karns and represent District 3 AAA well!

Well these to rivals face off tonight at 6 at Oak Ridge. The winner of this game will play Halls tomorrow and have to beat Halls twice for the Championship. WHats everybody's thoughts on the game tonight???? ALso does anybody know who is throwing for Karns?

HV, Which player out of East TN do you think will be drafted come Draft day. I mean you know the insight I was just curious who all will porbably get drafted?

Yeah I know there is respect there I agree with that. But these 2 teams always battle it out and they get so emotional that its hard to hold things back. I think tonight will be a great game between the teams. I agree with you both teams are going to leave everyting on the line cause on both teams there is a great group of seniors who do not want there high school career to be over just yet. Whoever happens to lose tonight I will hate it for some of those seniors cause both teams have some great leaders. HV, It will probably Chester vs. Plumlee tonight correct or do you think Karns will suprise some people and throw somebody else????

HV, I totally agree with you this is great for the state of Tennessee. And yes this years 2004 class has to be one of the most talented classes to come through the state as far as players who can flat out play.

Well HV, Karns was at the Powell/Halls game last night cheering on the Halls side for Halls??? These teams both are going to be ready to play and they don't like each otehr to much. After the last time these teams played at Powell there was almost a fight on the field while shaking hands. Tonight should be interesting. HV I don't think Karns will be having anybody else in mind except Chester

I see OR winning due to the fact that they have the better pitcher on the Mound. Mullins is going to give Karns fits and Karns doesnt have any more pitching available until tomorrow. Oak Ridge is playing as well as anybody right now and just the fact that they will have a better pitcher throwing tonight I see the Wildcats advancing into tomorrow night to face Halls or Powell

Well Im glad to see everybody going against the Panthers! Nobody thought they would win the regular season either but they did. I hope you all keep counting Powell out because it does nothing but motivate them even more. With Lockwood on the mound it will a tough game but Powell is a team who can swing the bats. Lockwood is very good but can be beat. Cummings is on the hill for Powell and if hes on it could cause Halls problems. The only thing that may hurt Halls is if Powell comes out with the win tonight Halls will be in troiuble pitching wise with Larson out. Even is Larson is able to throw in the next few days some he wont be up to par after being out 3 or so weeks. But I look for tonight to be another EMORY RD. battle between the Panthers and Red Devils. Goodluck to the teams

Who is throwing for Halls on Monday against Powell??? I know CUmmings is on the mound for the panthers just wondering who is throwing for Halls. I heard Lockwood is throwing but wasnt to sure

Well its getting towards the end. Tomorrow night at 5 either Oak Ridge or karns will end their season. I was wondering what everybody thought about the game? Also who is going to pitch for Karns they have already wastes Chester and Ownby until tuesday and wednesday. I know Oak Ridge will throw Mullins so its going to be very tough for Karns to pull this out. Should be a greta game though give me your thoughts

I agree. I think if Powell comes out and swings the bat they will be fine. The Defense has been playing pretty solid as of late. So if Powell will come out and play ball they should be fine but remember its tourney time and weird things happen. Goodluck to all teams tonight!!! This tourney is about to get good!!!!!!!
