  1. I suppose you're right. Kevin is not as blessed with a line like that -- but these guys do the best they can with the abilities that God has given them. Smithson also has some pretty good receivers (who by the way wouldn't get the ball -- unless he throws it on the money). And -- he also has a former college QB for a coach.
  2. I believe a CoachT Plus Member has to submit the names or maybe even coaches, I'm not 100% for sure. Maybe CoachT can answer this question.
  3. Roderick Whitaker from Mt. Pleasant (Univ. of Miami is interested) Of course there's Drew Hayes from McKenzie (last I heard Louisville, Memphis, Nebraska, Tennessee, Alabama, and Virginia have an interest)
  4. Clarkrange beat Pickett Co.? You've got to be kiddin', right? Wow -- I guess Pickett is not as good as I thought.
  5. Thank you for the tourist info. Are you with the Chamber of Commerce in Birdstown? If not -- they ought to hire you.
  6. I've seen Temple play their first two games and they are really good this year. They have a few areas they need to work on (defensively), but overall they are going to be tough to beat. Caleb Skogen scored 33 points (Ibelieve) in both games -- and he really didn't have his A game in either contest. He is jumping lots better as well. He did have a dunk in the game against CAK (almost two -- but in the second attempt the ball slipped out his hand). But anyway, Dee Newson looked really good on D. He is lightning fast. Zach Mouw is more aggressive than he was last year. He had some good minutes in both games (scoring and rebounding). Seth Skogen is doing ok -- but I didn't think he is at his potential yet. Sean Wadley didn't do as well as I thought he would in the first two games -- but he'll get better. Temple got some good minutes from Sophmore Josh Smith off the bench. He plays very good defense and rebounds the ball well. Doesn't get many shots -- but that will come in time. Cudd had a pretty good game against East Ridge on Thursday night. And so, the overall feeling is that Temple will be difficult for most teams to beat. They should win their district and region to play at State. They're my pick to win at the 'Boro in March.
