  1. It is 42-6, in favor of SP, in the 2nd qtr
  2. Oh we've heard of him . . . . . haven't seen too much of him in the past . . . . . perhaps we might see a little more of him this year against Temple since Josh Smith is no longer in the picture.
  3. The East won? I thought the West had the better players?
  4. Ho Hum . . . . the saga continues while I'm curled up beside .
  5. Ho Hum. We've heard this chatter all year. Like I said before: "Don't Tell Me How Good You Are -- Show Me."
  6. Like my signature says at the bottom: "Don't Tell Me How Good You Are -- Show Me." That's exactly what Temple did, isn't backinthaoc?
  7. yeah i guess we're not talkin' about 1A when it comes to dominating in basketball. who cares if East Tn. has won 5 Gold Balls in the last 10 years. EAST Temple (2007) Unaka (2004) Temple (2003) Temple (2002) Chattanooga Christian (2001)
  8. I don't doubt that they were the best team in the state, but to say that the West is the best is just hard to believe when you had 2 teams from the East that brought home a Gold Ball this year. I mean, give the East some credit.
  9. It wasn't their "own floor", it was played at the college gym.

  11. It may be true that Chattanooga is a bigger city but there are lots of schools to choose from. Temple only has about 175 students. Middleton has twice that many students and S. Fulton has a little over 200. I really don't know how that makes too much of a difference. As far as scholarships, Temple doesn't give scholarships to high school students.
