  1. People do not realize how good Liberty is until they see them. I don't care how good Pigeon Forge thinks they are, Liberty will beat them by 20+
  2. They will have a good test tonight in Memphis Ridgeway and this game will tell you a lot about them.
  3. Liberty travels to Memphis tonight to play Ridgeway in what should be a great game. These are two teams that are very athletic and run the floor well, so I think it will be a pretty high scoring affair. Liberty is lead by a trio of seniors in Josh Sain, Jewuan Long, and Antwan Long and on the other side Ridgeway is lead by the junior duo of Jason Jones and Martino Brock. With all that being said here is my prediction Liberty-87 Ridgeway-79
  4. Yes it was a great game, it didn't turn out the way i would have liked but it was a good game.
  5. This is a game that has been talked about since the schedules came out. Liberty is coming off a hard fought game against White Station tuesday night. This will be Raleigh-Egypts first game of the year. Raleigh-Egypt is ranked #3 in the Southeast Region and #18 in the nation according to the Preseason USA Today polls while Liberty is ranked #5 in the Southeast and barely missed out on the top 25. There aren't too many games in this state where two teams that are ranked in the top 5 in the Southeast square off. The big player match-up will be between R-E's Maurice Miller a Georgia Tech signee and Liberty's Jewuan Long a Murray State signee. These two go at each other when they play and this is likely the last time they will get the chance to compete against one another. My Prediction Liberty-73 Raleigh-Egypt-70
  6. Bynum was very good. He uses the glass as good as anyone and has a shot that brings rain. I expected more out of Miller but I have seen him before but tonight wasn't the best I have seen from him. I was impressed with freshman Joe Jackson, he is the real deal.
  7. Liberty had Josh Sain, Devon Jones, and Antwan Long foul out. The referees took the game from both teams but Liberty had just as much fouls called on them. Bynum or Miller did not foul out until very late in the fourth quarter. It was a vey exciting game and it was down to the wire but the referees were terrible for both sides.
  8. Joe Jackson at White Station and Ronald Brown at Raleigh-Egypt
  9. Both of those will make some noise this year. Jeremy Rhodes from Bolivar is another one who is going to be havinf a big impact.
  10. Jewuan Long will be playing in this game. This is a pretty big game even though it is a hall of fame game. This is definitely going to be a fight until the finish and the winner will walk away with bragging rights and the early favorite as the best team in the state.
  11. Leslie McDonald is one of the best players in the nation not only the state in his class. I watched him play his 7th and 8th grade years and I knew then that he would be very special.
  12. The game is being played at Raleigh-Egypt this year. They played at Liberty last year. If yo can't make the trip to Memphis the White Station game on the 14th will be held at Liberty and it should be a good one also.
  13. He may be back for this game but nothing is for sure. Jewuan is trying to get better to make another run and don't be surprised if he doesn't try to jeporadize it for a hall of fame game.
  14. should be a great game. Last year was one heck of a game with Liberty coming out and beating them by 7 points I think. This game will feature the two best senior classes in the state in my opinion.
  15. Will someone please keep me updated on the games today?
  16. I must say that this is not accurate at all. You have last years state tournament mvp listed as the 5th best player in the district and the 4th best on his team. There are two names on the list that I havent't even heard of, Tyrus Meadows and Warren Armstrong. What team do they play for?
  17. That is going to be a very competitive tournament. Liberty had to drop from that list because of the trip to Florida. It still should be the top in-state team tournament though.
  18. Brentwood Academy will be good again this year. They are probably still the favorite to win their 5th consecutive title. Briarcrest is going to give Brentwood all they want in contention for the state title. Those two are probably the two best teams as far as I know.
  19. Good list, but I would swap McNairy and Chester Co.
  20. Miller commited to Georgia Tech
  21. I think that Haywood will make another run for the title. Ricky Taylor, Kenny Greer, and Harris Jones are all very good ball players. I think that they have one of the best if not the best junior class in the state. In my opinion they are still a top 5 team in AA
  22. Liberty has two of the top 8 and four of the top forty. They also have a top thirty junior.
