I was able to pull some strings and I'll be able to go to the game but it seems I'm having car trouble and it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to get it taken care of before Wednesday... I'm looking for someone in the Jackson area that is planning on driving up there that morning and coming back in the same day...I live just outside of Humboldt between Humboldt and Gibson but would be able to meet someone in Jackson if needed... I'd like to ride with a fellow Viking fan if possible, but anyone who's going that morning and coming back the same day would be fine with me...

At what point did I say that Manassas only has a lazy player and one other guy?? I know better, even if some of Humboldt's supporters don't...I know Buckner is legit and I know Northington isn't the only other guy that can ball...Woodard is going to be a handful underneath and we'll have to defend Walker as well...Your guards are quick and will have to be kept in check for 4 quarters... If Humboldt loses in a close game to Manassas, then no they aren't overrated...Manassas just had the better team... If Humboldt gets blown out, then yes the Vikings were overrated...(won't happen) If Manassas loses in a close one, Humboldt was the better team... This is my opinion...If I'm wrong and someone other than Humboldt or Manassas wins it, then I'll sure have a lot of crow on my plate and I'm fine with that...I'm not going to get on here and rub it in the Middle and East Tn fans' faces if Humboldt or Manassas win it either...It's simply my opinion that Manassas and Humboldt are THAT good.. Upsets definitely do happen, especially this time of year...That's why they play the game...I just feel like Humboldt and Manassas should not only be the best teams in this tournament, but also capable of competing at the AA level...From what I've seen from teams in West and Middle TN this year, I know that Humboldt could and I feel pretty confident that Manassas could as well even though I've only seen them play once this season..

In AA and AAA, there are no two teams that are head and shoulders above the rest of the field...You'll more than likely find out in a couple of days that Manassas and Humboldt are much more talented than the rest of the teams in the class A tournament...

I'll say "Congratulations, you guys were the better team...Good luck in the rest of the tournament and bring that gold ball back to West Tn"... I believe Yankee is on to something if you read his next to last post...It just doesn't make any sense for the seeding to be random...Even if you were to set the top two teams opposite of each other, it wouldn't be fair to the other 6 teams in the tournament to be randomly placed...Certainly the more intelligent basketball minds in our state can come up with some kind of formula that awards, among other things, performance and strength of schedule...In my opinion, with a set formula in place, you'd have far fewer people complaining... I'm all about fairness to all the teams in this, not just fairness to Humboldt..

If you feel like that's necessary then sure, knock yourself out..

I can read just fine but apparently you aren't too bright...Of the names you mentioned, only Chipperjones4MVP, cublover, aff, mrbigster, rlion, 5031, and spellerone have been MIA...Chipper is a UC fan...cublover and rlion are scotts hill fans...mrbigster and spellerone are LC fans...As far as aff and 5031, I've never seen either on these boards...All of the rest of the people you mentioned are Humboldt fans with the exception of P&G Standard and all of us have been on here regularly, especially the past couple of days since the draw... I do remember the Scotts Hill fans taking unnecessary shots at Buckner and the rest of your team...If I remember correctly, I got on here and defended Buckner when people from Scotts Hill got on here bashing him, saying he was lazy...I know Buckner is the real deal, no doubt about it...However, just because some of their fans got on here bashing your team, it doesn't give you an excuse to bash everybody else in sight...Once again, your ignorance is showing.. Humboldt will be ready and they won't be intimidated...I really look for Taylor to turn it up in this tournament...Everyone knows what happened last time he and the Vikings were here and I'm sure he'll be doing everything he can to keep the Vikings alive....When he's aggressive and looks to asert himself, he's very tough to defend...We'll need both Taylor and Crayton to be on their game and we'll also need key contributions from everyone else in order to advance... Senior leadership will be big in this game and Humboldt has 7 of them (6 who play a lot of minutes)...I like our chances, especially in a close game...

That Humboldt team doesn't even begin to compare to this one...Much more structure offensively, much deeper, much more balanced scoring, much bigger, much more athletic, and much better defensively as a unit...Make no mistake about it, this Humboldt team is VERY strong...ARGUABLY the most talented team we've had...ever.. Grace did hand it to the Vikings on that day though..
