once again, i do not place any faith in that argument... i was just throwing it out there to cast some light on similar arguments made by others. i also agree that school and tests and things like that do not necessarily give an accurate indication of general intelligence... but you made statements regarding my intelligence when you know nothing about who you are talking to you. i don't know you either, and i'm not going to say that you are stupid, but i would appreciate the same in return. you manipulate stats just like i just did... (only difference is that i did it to point out that you do the same)

And this is the typical private school elitist attitude. please man... i am saying that my intelligence is insulted for an argument that i just threw ot there as something to think about... i think it is similar in errancy to most of the ones made by public school supporters... i didn't say anybody dropped out of middle school, and i didn't mean to say that someone is necessarily stupid if he did. don't give me this sarcasm.

act is not a joke... and i'll tell you my sat if you want to know... but that doesn't really matter... i just have to defend my intelligence when it is insulted, especially by people who, for all i know, could have dropped out of middle school. the point was that all these stats can be manipulated this way and that, but the bottom line is that public schools have shown themselves to be worthy competitors for the single A private schools, disadvantage or not. but also if we are talking about A, then you can't truly use stats from sports like cross country and numerous others that play A/AA (not separated). i mean, some AA privates might move up with the multiplier, but the A publics will still be competing with the A privates in those anyway. therefore, it's basically all about football and basketball, as much as you can argue to the contrary. and in basketball this year (get ready -- this might hurt), the public schools had 12 out of 16 teams in the state tournaments... (i know, i know... "but there are more public schools anyway, so it's really just even..." -- my point EXACTLY.)

that's right... look out for gj... he's been 50. in the 400 and he was 51.1 i think earlier this week at the fra-cpa-ehs-fcs meet. i don't think anybody wants to get in his way.

i appreciate that, and if i wasn't too busy at school during the day in calculus class, i would be more than happy to research and expose all of the similar discrepancies in the public school people's arguments... thanks for the bashing... by the way, for having never taken math, i do pretty well... act:36

i guess from a public school (anti-private school) point of view, that would be right... but from an objective standpoint, 75-25 for some reason doesn't ring a bell with me (it definitely doesn't ring that bell that is justice). i know you will falsely state that private schools are about 25% of the A schools... they are over 30% i believe. but it doesn't matter... out of the 16 teams, 9 of them began with one of the first 8 letters of the alphabet... that's not fair... we need to use a multiplier on any school whose name begins with A-H...
