RBS at Jackson County tonight at 6:00

I went to their spring practice on Saturday and Coach Russell really has the boys fired up. He was working them hard and they were just eating it up. I hope this carries over into the season. Not only are the players getting fired up but his assistants are too. Brint keep up the good work. Go Big BLue

I can tell, you think highly of Jay and I'm sure he appreciates your support. He has told me that he is staying at Jackson County. He's a good man who deserves the best. I'm friends with a guy that used to play football for Jay at Shelbyville and he feels the same way you do. I just want to say good luck to Coach Thaxton in what ever he decides to do.

Like I said before I think the world of Coach Thaxton and I voiced my opinion to the director of schools about his dismissal. But I would like to ask you one question why didn't Shelbyille try to get him back once they found out he was no longer coaching for Jackson County. I would hate to see him leave our school system but I know he loves the game of football.

I have always been a strong supporter of Coach Thaxton. But lets leave the baseball coach out of this. They are doing alot better this year and they don't practice the last 2 or 3 weeks of the season without their bats and gloves. I would also like to wish Coach Russell the best of luck.

He's from North Carolina. Hopefully more boys will come out this year. He has told me that he will get in contact with every boy in the school one way or another. So if more kids don't come out it won't be because of lack of trying by the Coach. So everyone get behind Coach Russell and welcome him to our community. Good luck to the Blue Devils and Coach Russell.

The new coach is a gentlemen out of N.C. His name is Brint Russell. I believe he will bring an enthusiastic approach to our football program, I have talked to him a few times and he is a firm believer in defense and holding on to the ball. I think Jackson County made a good choice for our program.

The new football coach will be introduced shortly possibly on Friday

I'm glad to see that you guys appreciate the effort that people are putting into the baseball program. For the longest time Coach King had to do everything himself. I'm glad that I can help. Introduce yourself to me next time you see me. I would also like to thank everyone for their commitment to JCHS baseball, and to the Cassetty family I would like to thank you for everything you have done. #3 Alex you are in our hearts forever.

1 run or 10 runs they still beat us which I do believe they beat us by 10 runs once last year. Horton is a very good pitcher he is probably one of the best in the district.

I don't believe he will be your #1 maybe 2 as of right now. I believe that Josh Denson is your #1 he can really hit his spots and the movement he has on his pitches is umbelievable. But from the little that I have seen Tyler he sure looks likes a good player. Good luck to the Blue Devils this season.

I watched Jackson County practice a couple of days ago and they are improving. They have a young ss named Tyler Phy who should be able to field the position if Nathan Maberry has to move back to catcher. They still have a few spots that will be weak but hopefully someone will step up and fill em. Like I said before I wish the Blue Devils and Coach King good luck.

Glad to see that Morgan is going to play. He's a very good kid glad to see him back. Tell Martin to work on his stamina because like I said before he's a pretty good pitcher for about 4 innings but with Coach knowing that I'm sure he will keep an eye on him when he's out there. Hopefully he will play with my team this summer.
