Wow, I guess American Christian got a little upset with the loss to Liberty. They beat St.Mary's like a drum. They beat them by 33. This is the same St.Mary's that had already beaten Arligton Country Day in the first round(who just so happened to be ranked 9th in the nation in the last USA Today poll). Mater Dei beat St.Mary's by 24 though.

These games aren't until Saturday...

Hey Mr.Stiller, I haven't seen your prediction for the White House game today. I remember reading you boast a little over how accurate your predictions were on a few other games. No one has scored 60 yet on White House. Do you think they will hold Haywood to 40-50 points as they have done to most of their competition they have had thus far?

I agree that most rap, simply because of the language, falls into your category there. But, I will say that Haywood County has some good clean rap music that the players enter to. I can't remember the guy that did it, but they have a rap song written for the Tomcats, that mentions several of the players on the team by name throughout the song. And it sounds really good.

They will play tomorrow against the winner of a game being played later today...

It would be interesting to see Liberty match up against American Christian. They have one of the top junior's in the nation, who is a 6'5" guard, and TWO 7 footers.

Jumpshot, it says on the undefeated teams page, right at the top, that it is only showing teams that have completed 7 games. Other teams are omitted to, Brentwood Academy is 5-0.

I listened to part of the game on the radio. Sain did not even play for Liberty, they said he was having migranes or something like that. But, Liberty had already had 9 people score, when they were up like 64-31 midway thru the 3rd quarter. I didn't catch the final though, but it is definitely a bogus score on the scoreboard.

"Coach V" is Winston Varnardo, the father of Jarvis, who also coached them last season. He is doing a great job since taking over for Coach Patino last year. Coach Patino is now at White Station, he was there all of last season. Rebuilding them, they are going to continue to improve under him this year. They already took Raleigh-Egypt into overtime, so they've earned some respect back this year.

I agree on the definite NO. But, Leslie is the #11 ranked player in the nation in the class of '09 by rivals. He does have the possibility of jumping into the top 5 in the future. But, to start comparing him to Thad is a little overboard, even if he does jump into the top 5. Also, they are totally different types of players.
