  1. Last year the owls had a lot of talent but were very young. (only two seniors on the team) The lack of experience hurt them as the season progressed. But this year they have some solid returning seniors who can hopefully replace some of the lost leadership. If so, then they should be a team to watch out for. But conversely, if they can't stay focused, regions will be questionable.
  2. definitely BOOM by Nelly and if heaven aint alot like dixie-hank williams jr.
  3. Acceptable slowing the speed of play talkin some smack aggression Unacceptable swearing kicking the ball away after a foul arguing w/ the ref that's just my opinion
  4. Most people like football better because you can hit someone. But the same is true about soccer. Ok maybe not exactly the same, but I've knocked plenty of people down without a foul being called. You can have lots of clean hits during a soccer game. (I had to get my .02 in)
  5. I'm stickin with my peeps at Mt. Juliet. Russel Hill, you're my hero!! lol
  6. I'm not really sure, but David Reeves missed his PK. And the only reason he scored was off two bad calls and too much stopage time.
  7. Mt. Juliet will be good this year. Especially with their all-state forward duo: Andrew Cromwell and Russell Hill
  8. I guess I didn't get the memo. What does everyone inTN know??
  9. First of all, I never really understood the scoring in football. How is 1 touchdown 6pts?! Anyway, I think that soccer players are more physically tough. A soccer game is 80 mins (for hs), but football games are only 48 mins (hs). I'm sure everybody can tell that 80 is bigger than 48. Also, though, it is true that not all 11 players play the entire game (football and soccer), but it's i think it's safe to say that more soccer players are playing the 80 mins than football players playing 48 mins (make sense??) It seems to me that a football game is really just a game between two people (the coaches!) Football and soccer seem to both be equal in mental toughness, though. I have never played football, but i've played soccer all of high school. And this is just how it looks to me.
  10. What r u talking about? There is no Garcia on the Ooltewah soccer team.
  11. TNT by AC/DC Voodoo by Godsmack
  12. As a matter of fact, Father Ryan won the tournament. The beat Oak Ridge 3-2 (I think). D-B, on the other hand, did not do a home team's job, which is to win. Ooltewah beat D-B 1-0

    Ooltewah

Will Ooltewah be good?? All I got to say is YEAH THEY WILL!!
  14. Best freshman? That's easy. Daniel Feagans! I've seen him play, and WOW! I've seen him juke defenders right out of their shorts. Not only can he dribble, but he can put the ball in the back of the net just as easy! Daniel Feagans is definetly the best freshman. There's no contest!
  15. I agree with staynskool. Jeremy Williams is the best goal keeper. Why? Well first of all he can fly through the air when he's between those posts. I've seen him completely horizontal to the ground and still be able to keep the ball out of the net. He is only a sophmore at Ooltewah, but you can be 100% sure you'll see big things out of him!
  16. Hey premiere09! Daniel Feagans is a great soccer player! He may have ridden the bench in your fantasy land, but at Ooltewah he plays a key role. You can be sure to see wonderful things from Daniel!
