  1. thanks ill email you. we still are looking for a few more pitchers, expecially a dominate lefty. We are going to do somefund raising and the up front cost will be a small sum.
  2. Does anyone know of some of the better tournaments in the state this summer for 18 and over teams? If so, where are these and do they still have spots available? We are putting together a team with several players from the West Tennessee area. If you are a left handed pitcher or know of a good lefty please post there names on here. We only need upcoming college freshmen. We could also use one more right hander that plans on playing at the college level. If you have and questions post them and I will answer them.
  3. Does anyone know how Davis is doing, he is a pitcher for Millington, hes a sophmore. He threw agiasnt JCM earlier this year.
  4. Trinity Christians Eric Quinn, I have never seen a man love to work like this guy does. He keeps their field looking great and does so much for every sport. Hes also a wonderful Godly man.
  5. i too think the schools are evenly matched, i think northside and JCM are the stronger of the public schools but South Side plays smart baseball, they have a lot of speed and are very aggresive on the basepaths. But it all depends what team shows up (southside). I think USJ and TCA is goin to be a match up, weither foust, latimore, mcpeake or whoever is pitching for the bruins (Who are so blessed with pitching depth) agianst TCA's Johnson who has pitched 18 no hit innings with 20 strikeouts or Frazier who is 3-0. They both probly top out high 80's and throw about mid 80's range, Johnson have more stamina and easily being able to go 7 strong innings. The Lions lions have a good lineup with johnson leading off and dreblow frazier and whitehead in the middle of the lineup. USJ has some guys that are very fast and they have a very solid defense. Ross and Gant (8th grader) playing in the middle. Lyles playing both behind the plate and in the outfield, he is so good and a freshmen. The outfield i think besides their pitching will be the glue. In addition they have picked up hunter garret to has teriffic speed about 6.5 60 time with is flyin. But i have my doubts that he will be a very stong force coem tournement time (he is waiting till may so he can play he is a transfer from haywood, tssaa rules state he must sit one year from the day he played his last game. This is the matchup im excited about seeing. expessially come district time.
  6. trinity christian is got the best infield i have ever seen. field wish its nice dosnt have much around it dosnt have lights either but it has more character than any other field. Its got a creek, trains that pass, and apache helocopters and military planes. Its a cool place to play and a awsome hitters park.
  7. Jackson Teams North Side Jackson Central Merry South Side Liberty USJ Trinity Christian Jackson Christian and can we forget Madison..... Is there any match ups you are looking forward to seeing? Any that you would like to see that dont play one another? Who are the players that stand out on these teams? Good look to all the Jackson teams, i hope everyone has a great season and stays healthy.
  8. I’m really more familiar with single A baseball but one guy that I have really noticed this year is JCM’s Daniel Baker. He has wonderful timing and takes advantages of pitchers mistakes. I don’t know anything about him in the field but I do know that he can throw pretty well. I think both he and Powell will be tough on the mound this year. JCM just needs to play solid defense and keep hitting to ball solid and I think they will surprise some people this year.
