  1. If Farragut would stop being a bunch of wussies, they should be able to take this game hands down. I agree Seldon, they are not playing near as hard as the Farragut team last year. Talent wise, they are a little less strong, but they are still strong enough to beat any team in the state. Its all about... ...attitude
  2. mm seldon, i'd have to say they will be ready to play, but no, it will not be enough. I see farragut being equally ready to finally deliver a pounding to the dawgs sometime this year. turnip, i mean turner better feed his boys some steriods with a side dish of testosterone and some of Pele's DNA to pull this one off. Farragut 5 Bearden 1
  3. Let's look at last year for an example. Knoxville produced some of the best teams in the state by far. FHS and BHS really had no close games except with each other. Farragut had at least 7-8 players from each class that played club ball. Bearden was exactly in the same situation. The top players from both schools played on the same club team when they werent beating each other up in the spring, and these clubs teams they were on were also the best in the state. fall ball...ahhh the good ole days
  4. I have noticed through all my years of soccer that club ball can end up giving you more exposure to colleges. I played on both a very good club team and a very good high school team... always some of, if not nearly always, the best in the state. If I were to compare my biggest tournaments or games between high school and club soccer, there were undoubtably more looks during these bigger fall tournaments than any highschool events I played. As far as developing, most of the higher tier players in the state also play on some club team during the fall. You can't hardly reach a higher level of abilitiy unless you have that training. Join a club team, go to some harder camps, keep playing. That's all it is; it's tough work but it pays off. About ODP, I'm not so hot on that subject because i feel that TN ODP is lacking in many areas. I do not feel that they bring in the best players in the state from past experience. However, it does have its benefits when it's on paper...

    bearden

I believe Bearden has lost too much from last year to compete with the best teams this year. They will win a majority of their games, however they will stuggle and lose a few too...esp. to farragut Admirals 5 Bearden 1
