Pride beat Crushers, and Belles beat the Waves. Pride and Belles are the pool winners. Pride will play the Waves, and the Belles will play Top Gun tomorrow.

Waves, Pride, and Belles all won their first game today. All the #1 seeds play tonight.

The Waves won their game easily, but the Belles were in a bit of a struggle, but pulled it out in the end.

Ok first thing, stats are used for examples. I didn't compare anyone. You made the statement that the girl from Memphis is the best in the state and the others were good players. I was making the comment that she is a great player as well. My next question is when did you see the young lady from the Belles play? She is a player that does it all. I have seen a lot of ball in my life time and you rarely find young players willing to do the little things, and she is one of those. The points are extra. I am not someone who is over the edge. I state the facts as I see them. I never said the young lady from the Belles was better. I said you have to admit that she is a great player as well. Seeing someone play in one game doesn't do any justice.

Spree, Granted I have not seen the young lady you are taking about, but it is hard to believe that she is that much better than the young lady on the Belles. In the championship game against the Guns she had 41pts, and 32 of them in the second half.(Where was she shooting?) She did not shoot a single lay-up and she was 4-4 from the three point line. You have to admit this is exceptional for an 11 year old. I believe that she is better than a Good player.

who is the best player in the state?

I didn't see the scores of the other games, but the score of the championship game was Belles 71 Top Gun 68. The game went into overtime. The Guns should easily take 2nd tomorrow. Does anyone know the results of the west sub-state?

I agree they are a great team make no mistake about it. I was just wanted to get someone elses perception of excellence. I do have one thing to say though, just because a team has won in the past doesn't mean that every team in that oganization is exceptional. So what category would you put KGC in? I think they are an exceptional team even though they did not finish in the top five. But in all fairness there are several exceptional teams in Tenn besides the Memphis teams. From what I witnessed in the Nationals the (teams) from Tennessee as a whole play better ball maybe next to California.

Thanks for the clarification, but I have one more question. Can a team pick up players when they go to the nationals? If so, did the Waves pick up anyone?

I have a quick question for Spree, What makes the Waves an exeptional team? From last years results, they lost to KGC in the state and just beat the Belles by one. They also had problem with the Guns. So could you clarify this for me please?
