I'm glad that the distractions are gone for awhile so that the Cylcones can get there minds into the game. I think Elizabethton rolls here, but it will be a good game as always. Cyclones 27 Greeneville 21 Smith will stay hot. Remember where you saw it.

Elizabethton has a storied football history and it puts a target on their back every game they play. That 3 game gauntlet will help but it has been hard to see when so many are used to immediate results. Make no bones about it, this is a very descent Cyclone team. Cyclones will win this game and that is no disrespec t to the Raiders of North. We all know it will be a real head knocker

I was the first to admit that I was bad on the coaches this year and last year. What I am trying to do is not run the boys in the ground Einstien. That is being done this year. That really makes them feel good about going out and competeing (sp?). Just like Anderson (TV) getting on here and getting on a good player. Support your son and the rest of the players. Smith is the best we have and we all know it. TV picked one of the players that gives it up for his teammates. One of the few. Get behind him and the rest of the team (coaches and players alike) in order to get that W next friday. I call you out Sky. What can you do to help this team? Complain and whine? Or step up and support them?

LOOK who the Cyclones just played back to back to back! It wasn't 1A, 2A, 3A but 1 - 4A horse (TN High) and 2 - 5A Clydesdales (Dobyns Bennett and Science Hill) There were no Grace Christians, no Jellicos, etc. Whether we should have done that is a mute point. I know at times I have been real bad on the coaching. Last year I really laid it to them and maybe they deserved it? I guess what my point is this year is that we should all stand behind thees kids and let them know that we are there to the end. They wear the jersey and play the game for the City of Elizabethton but have any of us let them know what that means? I'm going to make a point to let every player I see know that we appreciate them and ask them for a little more on the field. What can I do to help the coaches, the kids, the waterboy? Lets get behind Coach PLess and the kids and help them see the way. Getting on here laying the wood to them is not helping a bit! Being in the Cyclone family is in your blood and I am going to make a point to show my kid that yes, it does mean something to ware that jersey and this City is proud to stand behind our team. The Cyclones will have to heal up physically and mentally from the three beating that they have opened themselves up to on Friday nights. These guys went undefeated in thier JV year two years ago. Everyone has grown. What is the difference in this year's Cyclones compared to that team? I really don't understand where to lay blame for the showing the last two weeks. Verses Dobins Bennett they looked pretty goood. Any body got any good answers?

I still look for a great game by the Cyclones. This team is good and maybe we could support them all instead of being deadheads at the game. Why not drop it SportsTV. Seems like no one thought too much of your idea

Gosh, I think I got all of the guys who have had touches the last few games. In the last game seven different receivers had catches vs. six different receivers in the DB game. As far as speed these guys run a 'true' 4.5 up to a 4.8. Several are 4.65 or below. Hope that is sufficient information on the offensive skill position guys. I don't think there is anything to hide. Our game is our game just as TN High.

I look for Elizabethton to have a break out game. Speed will take over the game and the Vikes will have to throw to keep up. The Vikes are big but are lacking in speed and in the passing game. Cyclones 28-17

RVD, The new QB coach is Ron Calcagni - QB for Arkansas, Edmonton & Ottawa of the CFL. You can look him up on the net. Has great creditials and surely a benefit to the team. There was some whining today about Smith's words in Sunday's paper. They couln't have been more true. "We didn't go at 100% at all times." "we play hard three plays and take two off." Go gettem little man.

The back up. I agree, Nut shouldn't have called you a moron. He should have called you a daddy. Keep yourself busy with the camera, the coaches are doing fine. If you want to complain, maybe see the line coach.

You must be pretty close to the back up to even think something like that. Better look at the stats somemore.

I guess you'd have to be a fool not wanting Smith to touch the ball every play. QB is the way although I'm sure he'd be a great RB if that is where the team needed him. I figured out his passing % from DB & SH and it is 47% (without figuring drops). That's if the papers are right and I'm sure they are close. I don't think he'll see a better set of LB/DB and safeties to go against in his next 8 games. Yea, he got 3 ints. Friday but one was deflected off of his recievers hands and another his reciever was tripped and fell heading to the ball. The last was his. Smith does take off sometimes, but it is due to quick penetration of the defensive line. DUHHH...... Other times are roll outs for passing & runs. He is one of the top QBs in the area and you would be nuts to have him on a team and not have him touching and spreading the ball around. Seven different recievers caught the ball Friday night but somewhat of a running game is a must. I guess that's enough, but the guy needs some credit for what he goes through. I guess I see your happy feet as being able to scramble because when he has been given time in the pocket he has sit back and struck his target. 47% ain't bad vs. DB and SH. SportsTV, I think you're on your own on that one.

Im still trying to figure out the logic of the first two plays of the second half. A good drive and score were crucial to open up the second. The short passing game is working and we try 2 runs up the middle for nothing. Immediate hole to dig out from. Are the coaches calling the same game as they do in the beginning or is Smith choosing not to throw the short routes? I know I complained last week about getting away from the plan of throwing to set up the run. We get away from that after the 1st or 2nd quarter when it is working. This week and last week were the same. Anyone know the answer? Someone mentioned Couch at Kentucky several years ago. That is what we need to do. The Cyclones don't have a true RB that is ready for varsity play. Answers?
