  1. Enjoy the drive!!!! 2 hours 59 minutes / 170.11 miles
  2. I am assuming this question pertains to Class A & AA. So, I am sure most will agree that the team with the longest trip will be 15 single A an 15 double AA schools driving home without a state championship title and a Goldball. After a long memorable season of high school football that ends with defeat, and on that long ride home they will be wondering if they had given it their all on the field, on every play. If your one of those young men reading this and you are preparing for a playoff game, remember this, play as if there is no tomorrow. Because for the majority of you seniors, there will be no more football tomorrow, this game is your today.
  3. Pujo you are absolutely correct, everyone on the TEAM, meaning EVERYONE, should be on the same page. But the page should not be on here on CoachT. Football semi-final games are not won on this computer or anyone else's computer, nor will any state championships. If you have ever seen a kid get his or her but busted in public and feel embarrassed for the poor child, that is how yours and our team looks with this internet rambling. To all football players and coaches save all of us the embarrassment and leave everything on the field whether game or practice field. Let us parents and internet football gods look like fools. I am sure if we search on here long enough we can comprise a cookbook for crow.
  4. My son is not TJ. My son will be a sophomore next year. Lunceford said he has the potential to be a great QB in his junior and senior years.
  5. I no longer have any doubts about Lunceford coaching next year in some capacity. He spoke with my son today and strongly encouraged him to play football again this year. I am happy Popps, I have been trying my hardest to keep him in as many sports as possible to maintain his focus. In by Lunceford speaking with him today just solidified my opinion of his abilities. I could tell he was extremely proud and felt he will be a integral part of the team by Mike approaching him today. Dad, where is my cleats?
  6. Well, maybe you don't fully comprehend the concept of a STATE championship tournament. When they use the word STATE they are referring to the entire STATE. Not just the area in which you live. You see Tennessee consists of 95 counties roughly 41,217 square miles containing small towns, cities, and other small defined geographical areas all just as important as the next. So now that I have that explained to you. Lets see if I can make you understand the importance of every opportunity for each of those small towns, cities and other small defined geographical areas being able to compete in these tournaments. If we follow your logic then the Tennessee Titans,Nashville Predators, Memphis Grizzlies and others should not be able to play in their perspective championships. Because they are from a small STATE named Tennessee and they won't win and are not giving other programs, which are better a opportunity to win. As well,we should not send any representatives to the US Senate or to Congress. Because we should give the opportunity to the other states to make all the laws cause they are better than us. I surely hope after reading this you will realize just how idiotic your schema is for determining who should play in the STATE tournaments. By the way I am just a dumb Bulldog from Hampton. My opinion probably doesn't matter, since you are probably better than me. Fortunately, this is CoachT, and not CoachRegionEverythingBut..1&2.com
  7. Well we can all see now... the championship game was last week...
  8. Congratulations!!!! and thank you.
  9. Hampton's eighth grade team.. was very good this year.. so look for Hampton to reload... and possibly some freshman contributions next year.
