The 8th Annual Lady Mountaineer Softball Playday will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010. Team entry is free. Parents and spectator admission will be charged. TSSAA umpires. 3 game guarantee. Email mark.dowlen@blountk12.org for more information or to register your team.

Middle or East TN. I had heard the Cookeville Tourney was scheduled for that weekend, but can't find anything on it. Are they still having theirs?

Does anyone know of a tournament the weekend of April 18-19?

From what I was told when I asked, the eighth graders must be in the same building and under the same administration as the high school. Them being on the same campus didn't allow anything. There are a lot of schools with middle schools and high schools on the same campus, but not in the same building.

Thanks for the support for my field. I think being able to withstand two major rain delays like it did and still be in good enough condition to play definitely removes its worst field status. Yes, I agree we could use new dugouts and I know that it is a big hill to climb. Thanks to all of those who helped during the tourney. Couldn't have done it without you.
