I was in Knoxville for business the other day, and i heard Cookeville was playing. I had watched one of their games last year and was impressed at their hustle, enthusiasm, and love for the game!! But the game i saw this year was the complete opposite!!! They got beat by a Karns team that did not match up anywhere near the Cavaliers! What happened??

Does Cookeville have a chance in competing against the boro teams? They seemed to lose alot without Alcorn, Maddux, and Adams.

Who does everyboby think the #1 one defensive team will be this year?

what about the phifer, turner, froning, or staggs kids from cookeville?

Well, im not 100% sure. But from what i hear the coaches put their roster up and all the coaches in the district vote! And the coaches arent allowed to vote for their own players. The higher up you place the more all-district spots you are allowed! But thats not 100% correct! Somebody correct me if im wrong...

And 3 of the 6 all-district players returning!

The Cavs may be losing alot, but they have some up coming juniors that can fill in places where they are needed. And the upcoming seniors that will assume leadership roles. It will take some adjusting, but they'll be fine. If they play together and get along like they did this year, who knows...

What is the all district team for 7-AAA?

Whats the news on the Froning kid? Are reports true on the stitched hand, and is he out for the week? Does this mess with Cookeville's chances?

Who are some of the best shortstops or 2B you've seen?

Throwing at someone puts contraversy into the game. Without contraversy what fun are sports. I play and if someone is gonna throw at me i believe that is there problem, because as long as i get on base i dont care. And for all you parents and coaches who are concerned ask your son or your players if they really are concerned and i guarantee 8 out of 10 wouldnt care. If you are afraid you are a wuss!!! And cookeville doesnt have poor sportsmanship for doing that!! Everybody does it!!!

Chaffin is Awesome!! He makes you comfortable as a player and gives you freedoms to play. He knows his stuff and is fun to play for!

Who are some of the best secondbase and shortstops you've seen?

Is Cookeville as good as their record shows or are they just playing some easy competition?
