Well, isn't that a kick in the pants. "NOPE" is your answer? Well, no wonder there is a lack of support for the players & coaches. At least they did win a game in Coach Kerr's first year, can't say the same for the first year Brown coached. I hope that the ones who are eligible to come back will, and that they don't get frustrated & give up. In White County, there isn't a lot of support for the football program, except from the players families, students, & the school faculty. This isn't going to change overnight, but I am hoping with time it will. Whity County needs to be placed in a didtrict that they can compete with, & maybe with the naming of a new AD, finally, they will hopefully get to do that.

Hopefully, the players who can, will come back out & try to make it a better year. Sparta just couldn't get it together this year, and it is definitely going to take some MAJOR re-building to have a decent season. Good Luck to all the playoff teams & see you next year!!

After a one-win season, I guess there were a lot of frustrations on that field, but I agree that some class still should have been shown. According to the Sparta paper, Ireno Rose & David Vance were also ejected on the last play of the game, which made all 3 ejections seniors. I also heard through the grapevine that they were looking to still do something to the other players who were involved in the maylay at the end of the game. Not sure what could be done now, since Sparta has no more games this season, but we will see. Good Luck Rhea County. See you next year!!

Hixson comes to White County on Friday night. Both teams are without a region win. Who gets the W? White county is coming off of their first win last Friday night, and Hixson is still in search of a win. I haven't heard much from Hixson this year, and thoughts?

Way to go Warriors!!!!! Congratulations to all of the players & all of the coaches. This was a well-deserved win. Sorry to spoil Crossville's homecoming, but this was a very much needed win. Those guys fought hard, and came out with the victory.

Well folks it's F-R-I-D-A-Y!!!! Nothin better thatn a great fall Friday night football game, and I don't think those of us in attendance will be disappointed at all. With a little over 3 hours till game time, does anyone have any final comments before Sparta's first W? Everyone be safe, and enjoy the game!!

The first touchdown White Count scored against Cleveland, did indeed come against the forst string. The second and third TD's came against the 2nd string. White County has the momentum going their way, so watch out CC Jets!!!

I must go with White County on this one guys. I saw both games, and with the Warriors scoring 3 TD's, that was the boost of confidence that they were looking for. After a few tweaks & changes last week at practice, it looks like the Warriors are heading in the right direction. Cumberland County is looking better as well, as they did score also. Not to rain on Kane's parade, but when the Jets scored, it was againt the 2nd & 3rd string.

Well, both teams scored their first points of the season tonight. Who comes away with their first win of the season next week?

Please don't get me wrong. I know that we don't have enough strong boys to put out completetly new offense & defense everytime, and yes there are a few who need to be playing both ways, but when you have some out there who are only out there because they are the coaches son, or other VIP's son, and they make mistake after mistake, then you need to give someone else a chance. The coaches are trying to work on fundamentals with them, and a lot of progress has been made, but if what you're trying doesn't work after several times, at least have the guts to say let's try something,or someone, else. Last night at TTU, was a perfect example. Same players made one mistake after another, and what happens? NOTHING!! THey stay in and do the mistakes all over again. Trial and error is what it's called, but when you keep erroring and don't try something else, then it's just plain nuts. I will now get off my soapbox, and try to enjoy the season. THanks for letting me vent!! LOL!

Well Warrior fans, I hope that the scrimmages aren't an indication of the season to come. I must say first off that I am very disappointed that the quarterback (Mitchell) & wide reciever (Delaney) decided not to stick around. They are two very talented athletes, that seem to enjoy wasting their talents. Although I have not got the reasons straight from the players mouths, I did get the next best thing, one of the parents. Apparently the boys think that it will be a long, crappy season, so they decided to bail early. Next, I am a little bit disappointed with some of coach Kerr's moves. Although there is a lot of talent on the team, there are still way too many players playing on both sides of the ball, getting exhausted, and suffering along the way. There is no reason that White County can't have a fresh defense & offense at all times. Time will tell, & I guess we will see how it goes, and brace for the worst, but hope for the best!!!

White County fans are pumped & ready for a good season. Maybe we won't have as many wins as loses, but it's sure a fresh start. Pads are on this week & looking ok. Players are finally grateful to be playing for a coach that seems to care. Scrimmages are in the upcoming forecast, and hope to see what's been going on in their heads.

Any input on the upcoming season for the "Warriors" & their new coach? Coach Kerr seems to be a good fit in the program, so far.

Coah Kerr is a breath of fresh air to these guys & this program. Please don't misunderstand, Coach Brown was a good coach, but his demeanor was a little stand-offish. Delaney is back, but not in the QB position. Look for him as a reciever, which he is AWESOME at. Sparta will have good year, with Coach Kerr, and hopefully it will be the start of a great re-building program!! Go Wariors!!

Not so fast. Ever heard they old saying, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch?" Everyone always wants to count the underdog out, but not so fast on this one. White Co may not come out with the "W", but it won't be a "landslide". RB-28 WC-21

I hope it is a memorable senior night for White County. Maybe they can pukk out the upset, but if not, I at least hope they can bring out hte best game they have played. They look to have everyone ready to go Friday night, and maybe thsi week, JJ can get a touchdown.

Not sure what to say at this point. Still in shock from last week, and then this week it was de'j'vu all over again. No, it wasn't the officiating. Actually, some of the best I've seen this year. All I can say is I saw a tired defense at the end of the 4th quarter. But what can you expect, when 90% of the defense, also plays offense. They were just worn down. I still don't see what all the other players on the sidelines are for. Looks?? If they aren't good enough to go out onto the field to play, cut em'. Most teams that White County plays, you see fresh players go out all throughout the game. Not Sparta. Oh, well. I guess there's always next year.

Word on the street is that Delaney may play some limited time in tomorrow night's game. Would be great to see him back esp. at homecoming.

So, now that most of the hurt from losing to Hixson is mended, will White County have a victorious homecoming Friday night? What are everyone's thoughts?

Ahh... poetic justice it might be. Was not aware that it is homecoming. What is Hixson's record thus far? White Co. seems to finally be coming out of the QB slump, and things appear to be on the uprise, but the rest of the schedule is looking rough.

Ok folks....What will the outcome of this game be? I haven't heard very much from Hixson, so any ideas??

Last word heard was that he will likely miss the next 2 games. Friday's game should be a great game, reqardless of who QB's. I agree that we should get back to talking about the game, and try to not argue anymore with fanatic, as he is apparently getting his thrills out of all the attention. Sorry that the post has gotten so out of hand clevelandblueraiderfan, I know you don't want to listen to us agrue with an immature , disgruntal player. Let's all try to get back to talking football.
