  1. Everyone has hit the nail on the head. MP came into this game unprepared and got beat. It dont matter how much better one is than the other it will always be an MP and CA game. MP did not hit the ball tonight and the pitching wasn't the best. CA came in with there "A" game a beat the Mighty Tigers. I hope it is a wakeup call for MP. Clint Shelby pitched a heck of a game and it took a while for the Tigers to catch on. Great game and good luck to the Dawgs in the future. M.P. Dr.Diamond
  2. I'll be honest with ya 1AMAN. I think I speak for everyone in region 6A when I say this region is way too physical for any Perry County to be in. MP has scrimmaged them the past 3 years and has literally wooped their tails physically every year including the year we went 0-10. Plus we beat them by 4 touchdowns. When it comes to 1A ball, I will have to say that this has always been one of the meanest and toughest regions in the state of TN. I will even go as far as saying at least 2 teams would have already won state out of this region IF WE COULD RECRUIT! 6A has always been the meanest but when it comes to having twiced as many talented players on a private school team than on a public school team, then meaness alone just dont win ball games. Perry County simply aint strong, mean, or physical enough to be in this region. M.P. Dr.Diamond
  3. Good point snowman. I like that.
  4. Chapel Hill has a great team. But everyone knew that they and MP was not going to throw their ace. Both teams hit the ball really well, but MP proved to be the better base hitting team. MP don't have any freshmen pitchers. So they threw the next in line. Both teams are waiting for the region to show what they have. MP has seen what Chapel Hill has got, but they aint seen what MP has got. It'll be a good matchup with both aces on the mound.
  5. I'm glad MP is back in the spotlight again. But you people are overlooking alot of people that MP has. I'm not going to tell anymore than Theo and Jamarcus. But MP has the killer backfield this year. Two very good runningbacks including a fullback who knows what to do when he gets through the hole plus Theo who knows how to practically read his mind. And you can't leave out the line. All of the seniors have played together since they were 6 years old so they have alot in common and look out for each other. The Cats and the Trojans will have to find out what Coach Smith has stuck up his sleeve this year.
  6. CA is already out Stephen. Think about it man, they have 4 district losses. Summertown has 2 I believe and Collinwood only has 2 or 3, i'm not sure. It would be close between Collinwood and Summertown but MP will not overlook Summertown cause we've only played them once. CA is out and congratulations to Collinwood on a great season thus far. Keep it up. And as far as the big lefthander that threw against MP, I agree it would've been closer. He has a great fastball and curve. He will be good in years to come.
  7. MP played a great game but ya'll are leaving one thing out. What about those seniors? Bubba Holt blasted a grandslam and Neylan hit a homerun. Great leadership tonight guys. Way to take control early. Tuten pitched a great game. Andrew came through when we needed him too. MP has a great club this year and great senior leadership. Good job guys!
  8. mp after tonight is NOW!! the kings of district 12a
  9. mark it down collinwood finishes 2nd this year behind mp!!
  10. Let's here from lethal10 where's all the crape talking now?
  11. I will say this collinwood is going to be a force for sure they work very hard and they play togather as a team and seem to have a good coaching staff!!!I am from mp and i am saying this!!! as far as the future we'll see!! But i am saying they finish 2nd behind mp this year ? or summertown? if ca don't get their act together!! but mp will take it this year!!! as far as the skelley kid good!! but why did he leave santa fe? and if they don't throw their best againts mp this weekend they will get beat very bad? chaplehill that is
  12. I'm from MP. And people can say what they want, but i've seen these kids in action, and they can play. Of course their young and their gonna make mistakes. But they held their ground pretty good against MP Friday. It was 5-0 goin into the 5th inning. They put the bat on the ball really well. Their fielding lacks a little bit but that aint nothin a years work can fix. And I don't know about CA's young pitchers but Collinwood has three I know of that we had trouble with. It'll be close as far as pitching, but I'm looking for an upset Monday if CA don't have their heads on straight. In a couple of years, Collinwood will be a force to reckin with.
  13. I would have said Tuten, but I didn't even think about Angel Jaime. He does have a great curveball. His fastball aint the best but most of the teams in Tn can rip a fastball and that's when you need a good curveball pitcher.
