A little Kenny Meredith information for ya. As far as I have heard, Kenny has missed some workouts this summer because of working schedules. He also missed some because of a wrestling camp. I think coach Levi is making him focus a lot more on wrestling this year, since he is the pick for State Champion in the 189lb class this year. I think once official practice starts youll see the Kenny in the weight room that everybody knows and is scared of.

Thats true...isnt it sad the Power that Blackman parents have at that school.

Yep, Coach Alsup will earn his money this year coaching all those new kids up front. The Defense is also a questions mark, but thats another area for Alsup to show his expertise.

Where are all the Blaze fans at? Last year Blackman Topics were all over the place. How does everyone think they will do this year, with Marques Locke at QB, Jeremy Mimms at TB, and Kenny Meredith at FB, and pretty much a new o-line. Hopefully this will get some Blaze fans on Coach-T. I know a couple players graduated, and their folks frequented this site a lot. Just because your kid graduates doesnt mean your no longer a fan. David Price ERA 0.46 StrikeOuts 151 K's per Game 16.35 1 no-hitter 4 games of 16+ strikeouts And finally, Price was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for Baseball in TN And he was co-pitcher of the year in 7AAA Give me a Break..thats laughable...so what his records wasnt that great..his team sucked. Your kidding yourself if you even think Alcorn can pitch half as well as Price. Anybody know where Alcorn is playing next year?

Congratulations to Coffee County. I was glad to see Bubba Vincent was able to get it done when he had too. He pitched a heck of a game, shuting out a very good Riverdale Warrior team for seven innings. I understand he threw 141 pitches, but he did what he needed to do to give his team a chance. And what a finish, Vincent hitting the top of the right field wall to score Jackie West from second in the bottom of the 8th. A fitting end for Vincent, he played a great game.

Your right, but what if Blackman didn't have Price. They would be run ruled. So in my opinion, just for keeping a non-hitting Blackman team in games, gives Price the MVP for the Blaze.
