I agree adamr6999!!! Last nites game was a great game. Both of these teams play with respect. Cannon played awesome last nite. York has an aggressive team but I never thought either team played dirty. Hats off to the good guys, Cannon, York and Smith. They play with their hearts, not their mouths. She is doing well this season. Avg 16+ pts and 9 rebounds per game. Hard worker, dominates rebounding for a player her size(or any size) and can find a way to score. Good kid all the way around!!!!!!

Congratulations to Cannon Co. for making the list. They are now 7-3 and plan to move on up. Snyder is averaging 20 ppg rite now and according to the paper it looks like they can shoot well from 3 pt range. I wouldn't count them out at all. Good luck with the tournament this weekend!!!!!

You and I must not have watched the same game Timboe. If I remember correctly there were several of the Lions players that were mugged (thats putting it mildly) at several different times during the game and there were no calls. There was no home cooking going on. I'm sure you can borrow the Dekalbs video and re-evaluate your opinion. The Lions kept cool and played a great game. If the officiating had been called more evenly, you would be dealing with more than a 14 point lose.

Congratulations to the Cannon Co. Lions for a well deserved win over district rival Dekalb Co. The Lions won by 14 and was led in scoring by Brian Jones with 20 points. Great team playing guys. We're with you all the way!!!!!

There are a lot of good guards out there but Ashley Nichols is definately one of the best. She gets over looked way to much. This girl can see the floor better than ANYBODY I've seen. She can squeeze a ball into a mouse hole without even looking. She can score when needed and her ball handling skills are 2nd to NOBODY. Together with Olivia Snyder (these girls are bread & butter together) the Lionettes are going all the way.

Contratulations to the Cannon Co. Lionettes for a District win over Dekalb Co. last night.( 30 something pts) ( bench got most of playing time) Lionettes are 5-1 so far this season with wins over Warren, Coffee and Smyrna. Looking good girls. 7AA can be all your this year. Don't let up.

There are some great teams in this district but I don't think Cannon Co will settle for 4th place this year. I understand Snyder is feeling 100% better from her illness since last year. She played sick the last half of the year. Ashley Nichols is a tremendous point guard and these two girls play well together. I think the Lionettes will be a contender for the TOP DOG position.
