  1. I was under the impression that Caroland was a senior.
  2. I think Rainer is definitely the best returning goalie since MBA and McCallie lost their starters. I'm not sure if CBHS is returning their goalie, but if so, he should be all right too.
  3. First off, it's Penn Brafford, and he was the top attackman for McCallie last year. He didn't get as much credit as he deserved because of Clint, but he'll be very good this year. As far as all-state, Gibson, Burns, Brafford, and the top guys from CBHS and Farragut should all get it at some level. At middie, Sawyer, the two kids from MBA, Abernathy, and Hughes, Stephens, and Gregor from McCallie. I don't know enough about the rest to say, but those guys are all solid.
  4. Dave Chappelle made it funny, you destroyed it. Please stop killing the comedy.
  5. I assume you mean serving because severing would be a little bit disturbing.
  6. I definitely wouldn't drop Brafford down. He is very fast, and just as fundamentally sound as anyone on the 1st team. He just didn't get as much attention because everyone focused on Brakebill this year. Plus the boy is really tough. Watch the state championship tape, he is the little guy getting beat senseless by everyone including their goalie, but he kept coming back for more.
  7. There were 7 or 8 attackmen that deserved at least 2nd team, so inevitably one or two were going to not get what they deserved. Cooke just got the short end of the stick.
  8. He was asking who is the 4th best team behind McCallie, MBA, and MUS. I'd probably say Christian Brothers too. They had the best attack and goalie out of USN, Farragut, and them. They had some decent athletes on the midfield too. Farragut had noticeably better longpoles though. But overall, it was Christian Brothers.
  9. Just curious, but who would you drop down to get Cooke up to 2nd team? Would you drop Brittingham all the way from 1st team or would it be Brafford, Caroland, or Gillespie?
  10. Cupo was #21, and he was a senior. #9 is Penn Brafford, and he was a junior this year.
  11. That's quite possibly the most hypocritical thing I've ever heard. Every post from you Bigrusn is a biased, meritless praise of your own teammates. You claim that nearly every player for USN is one of the best in state, be it at goalie, defense, or midfield. If these guys were really that good wouldn't somebody else be talking about them? Nothing against Brittingham though, he is pretty good.
  12. #3 on your team deserved honorable mention. Attack was really deep this year, so he might have gotten screwed because of that, but he was pretty good.
  13. The reason we had an easier ride was because we earned it, and the West only had 1 dominate team. If you play in the East, then get better and earn the number 1 seed. If you play in the West, get more than 1 quality team and make it competitive. Either way don't whine about the semis because you didn't take care of business.
  14. Kapman is right. There was a meeting run by coach dent before the championship game, so the quarterfinals and semis were taken into account.
  15. They were when we played them. Now they are merely ranked number 7. You're right, it's not amazing, but it sure makes it a heck of a lot harder to put up 20 goals playing the best teams in the South instead of knocking around division 2 teams in TN.
