Yes, Houston easily handled Hendersonville in the opening round, but in all fairness, Hendersonville was just way off their game. I've seen them earlier in the year and they just had a bad day yesterday. Congratulations and good luck to Houston.

Sorry to put you on the defensive, Opperman, but like many other large cities, Memphis does have a problem with crime. In fact, it is shown as being the 5th Unsafest City in the USA according to CNN. But that really has no bearing on the soccer tournament since you corrected us on the fact that it is in "Germantown".

Middle Tennessee is a better option. Southhaven is cheap because no locals want to go there- they know it is a crime-ridden area.

Johnson City and Kingsport are about 20 minutes apart. You are better off staying at Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, or Meadowview Conference Center (a Marriott hotel) for convenience. (All 3 are in Kingsport) Not much entertainment that I know of.

By the way, does anyone know what has become of the Tennessee Lady Tigers? (Not the Memphis Lady Tigers, but the organization run by Cleve Harris). Have not seen mention of them this year. Have they disbanded?

i agree with jstone. i have seen Daniel Kelly play for Hendersonville. Even though he is only a freshman, he is a huge part of Hendersonville's offense and will be as good or maybe even better than Xander by the time he's a senior. Great Player.

Hendersonville won 1-0. the game was tied 0-0 and had to go into overtime. Andy Wicke scored the one and only goal to win the game.

Listen grant. we all kno how u think ur the best at soccer but ur not and u dont have to come on here and talk about yourself to make u sound better. u stink and if u didnt u would have been on varsity. so go run to PJP cuz obviously u werent doing anything for HHS.
