  1. Farr beat OR in the first round of the Playoffs in 1983 10-7 also. Still not a good ratio. No reason the series is not closer than what it is.
  2. You need to go to the TSSAA website and view the requirements for coaching in the state of Tennessee. There are a very very few number of volunteer coaching positions they allow. Most coaching positions, especially in Knoxville require you to be an employee of Knox County Schools.
  3. Here is how this region will end in the standings. Farragut and Oak Ridge next Firday night is for the region championship. The loser is 2nd no matter what. William Blount is 3rd and Ooltewah is 4th. Even if Oak Ridge loses OR is still second. There will be a 3 way tie for 2nd between OR, WB, OHS. The TSSAA tie breaker is head to head, which they beat each other. The 2nd tie breaker is overall record. That would give the 8-2 Wildcats 2nd. Then WB 3rd by virtue of head to head against Ooltewah. So no matter what happens WB is 3rd and Ooltewah is 4th.
  4. Farragut dominated this whole game. They just made mistakes like 6 turnovers. Farragut basically beat Central up and down the field. They just made too many first game mistakes. This team will be good this season
  5. OK folks...... I don't reply much on this site. Do not be so excited about OR's win at Farragut. I had the opportunity to watch a full replay and OR did not beat Farragut as much as Farragut beat themselves. They fumbled inside the 10 once and threw an INT in the end zone...alont with 2 other INT's inside OR's 30 Farragut was just careless with the football. So don't be so fast to write them off. Oh yeah by the way if Ooltewah beat OR and Farragut then beats Soddy and Ooltewah they are region champs still.......Good luck to all four of these teams from this region......Probably the toughest top half region in the state this year.
