  1. No practices as the kids are already so busy with open gyms and fall sports. We simply screen the kids by getting their name and looking them up to make sure and keep the quality of play as high as possible to keep the college coaches coming.
  2. Just a few spots available for this year's event. Coaches from 6 states have commited to attend. http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=etelite80
  3. Looking for 1 more 16u teams and 2 more 13u-15u teams to attend a play day on April 14. Cost is $25/game, 3 games, free admission. Regulation clock and refs. Cheap way to sharpen up for the open viewing period. Call 865-387-1792 or email skyshae2001@yahoo.com to register.
  4. Here's a sampling of SOME of the girl's that played in our fall league this past season: Ashlee Mitchell (POY Big 8), Brooke Rhodes (JCP POY, Region All Tourney, District POY), Maelyn Cutshaw (All District), Jenny Snyder (All Big 8), Shy Copney (All Big 8), Tiana Tarter, Madison Davis (Webb), Jade Hale (Mo East), Allison Ball (All-District), Karly Frye (District POY, County POY), Mendy McNeese (All State tournament as freshman), Kiera Smith, Mindy Brackns (all District), Mikayla Trombley (all district), Cassidy Martin (all state as soph), Lauren McCurry (all district), Morgan Depew (all district), Morgan Whittemore (all district, school record 80 3s), Tailor Morgan (all district), Allison Hodge (District tournament MVP), Laura Johnson (all district), Karsen Sims (All District), Makayla Graham (All District)............... Theres plenty more but that's a decent start. Oh I forgot Oak Hill Academy played in it too. That is fact not opinion. As for the tournament I hope you come and bring a bunch of people. We'd love to sell you a ticket. Stop by and introduce yourself. Dang, I forgot! That would not allow you to make anonymous posts about our program.
  5. LittleRock attacks anything I am any part of. This poster even attacked our fall exposure league saying that the talent in a Knoxville league was way stronger than the talent that attends our league. Also stated that we had very few college coaches attend the event. Even attacked a Boys Rocky Top team that I was asked to coach by Andre Whitehead. Bottom line is our tournament games are always on time, refereed by TSSAA licensed referees, and are played on the beautiful campus of Carson Newman.

  10. USA Today poll is a joke. I believe SH is ranked 16 in the Rivals pol and 26 in the ESPN Hoopgurlz poll, both above Bob Jones and Mt. Juliet. I have consistently been in contact with a couple of people at Hoopgurlz this season re this team trying to get them recognition they rightly deserve. They have already received invitations to 2 MAJOR holiday tournaments next year. They are being noticed and deservedly so!

  15. Thanks coach! According to TriCities Sports as of January 15th: Steals freshman year= 144; soph year= 155; total on Jan 15= 393. Assists soph year= 134; total on Jan 15= 295. Rbs as of Jan 15= 472. Points 1052. What you don't see in the stats is she will take 2-3 charges a game too!
  16. Cassidy Martin, a junior a Pigeon Forge. She is an absolute scoring machine! Was all-state last year as a sophomore. Has passed the 1000 pt mark and recently scored 39 points in the first half with 10 three pointers made!
  17. Junior Brooke Rhodes from Cloudland. She is a monster on the inside and already has several D1 offers on the table.
  18. Ashlee Mitchell junior pg at Tennessee HS. Noone in this part of the state does more for their team (23-4). Last night had 34 pts, 30 rbs, and 7 steals in an OT win!!! Has broken the schoo record 3 times for steals in a season, and owns the school record for season steals, season assists, career steals, and career assists while already topping the 1000 pt mark.
  19. This year's tournament is being held at Carson Newman College and is a Tennessee Girls AAU State Qualifier. Teams will play 3 pool games and all teams will advance to bracket play. AAU rules apply and shot clocks will be used for 8th grade and above. Online registration available at our website. Come earn pts for state seeding and play in 1 of the 2 tournaments you are required to attend this year to advance to state. http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?cmenuid=1&url=kpanthersinvitational&sid=727249498
  20. ACA Hoops charges $25 to post tournaments now that's probably why. Knoxville Panthers are hosting an AAU State Qualifier on March 16-18 at Carson Newman College. http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?cmenuid=1&url=kpanthersinvitational&sid=727249498
