I never said I was an officer of the law. You can wear a uniform and not be an officer. You can wear a cheerleading uniform, basketball uniform, UPS uniform, a uniform for someone who delivers uniforms a frito-lay uniform or you can be uniform in the way you dress. I took your email just the way it sounded. I bring all 8 of my kids so that they can see the competition. I never seen any violence until what happened last night and I was happy to break it up. Congrats to the Dyersburg Trojans. Great season. I do not think anybody expected them to go this far. I am very proud of the team. Congrats to Dyer County. During the third and fourth quarter they were unbelievable. Not only are they talented they play hard. 100 + points wow. A apluad the players and I believe after what I saw last night they can win the state. As for the Dyer County coaching staff they are terrible. They did run up the score and kept pressing when the game was well in hand. They are not good for the high school game. I know that many of you will disagree and that is fine. Ths is my OPINION so please no whining or excuses they are quickly becoming old. If you were at the game you seen it. It was a great game but a terrible finish I am so unimpressed with the level of coaching. They really showed those 16, 17 & 18 year old kids from Covington what real winners they are. NOT! Dyer County and Covington will be a very fast game. Dyer County should win this matchup again. Dyersburg has to play a very good game to beat Haywwod. I think the Trojans can and will get it done. Playing against a tough D like the Choctaws give and a very tough zone like Northside did Friday night continues to make them better. I agree with this one. But when you do win. Try just a little to act like you been there before. I know it is hard when you are wearing that orange crap but please try. Then maybe you will get some respect.

No excuses for Dyersburg. Who said anything about excuses? The Trojans beat the crap out of Dyer County for many years. The tide has changed. You must be a fair weather fan as well. Aparently you don't. If you watch any other basketball you will understand. If you don't understand take a class or call Bobby Knight. I know exactly what the offenses and defenses are. We you are pressed it is more of transition game, fast break, etc. With the way DC presses they don't always let you get in to your offensive sets. GO TROJANS

The basic strategy from coach Real is to win. (This is very common in athletics). They run a variety of offenses and defenses. That is why the one more games than they lost and came in number 2 in the district behind the mighty choctaws. They run the Memphis and a flex which should be very clear if you watched the game.

I just call it like I see it. I am sure there are several examples of both fans acting in a bad way. I can go there if I want. That is why this is a message board. If you are a DC fan and don't know how to use it then don't. The game last night was a good one. The DC team showed why they are #1 in the state and I am sure they will represent west tn well. I was prepared to back the DC team all the way until after the game was over.... After a convicing win, Rex Pierce decides to pull his jersey off and shake it at the Dyersburg Crowd. Wow. I was really upset when Rex left Dyersburg becuase I thought he was a terrific player. But with that type of display I am glad DC has him. The assitant coaches were smiling and patting him on the back. I guess if you never won anything before then you don't know how to act. This was a pitiful display. I watched the Dyer County Boys team and I am still amazed at how great they are. A team that is great looks to get better every game. They crushed a once highly ranked Westview team. Justin Blake went off. Good Luck Choctaws. The bad thing is their fans. When Dyersburg took the floor against Milan, many of the DC fans cheered Milan and booed Dyersburg. Were the fans hoping that Milan might beat Dyersburg and the Choctaws would play an overmatched Milan team? Were the fans not wanting a rematch? They were flat out ugly to the Trojans. I do not think it was any of this. I think it is just poor sportsmanship from the Dyer Count Fans (not the players). The Dyer Couny fans have been getting thumped for soooooo long that their frustration spilled out in to boos against their Arch rival. Its ok we understand. NOT! Don't worry you can cheer and boo the right way tonight. Lets see two really good team go at it. If this makes you upset you can always look for a place in Gibson County.

I had a degree of respect for the boys team until the punch was thrown. The orange fans shouting you don't want none. Thugs is all that there is.
