No my friend THAT sounds like a threat. I weigh all of 110pds. I come with my mother(sports fanatic) I ABHOR VIOLENCE. My cousin who cheers was TERRIFIED last night. I had to walk her to bathroom to change. She would not even sit w/her friends and stayed beside me and my mom. WHAT in GOD'S name would you want to address with me. I LOVE HS sports!! It is a good way to support the community and school my daughter and nephew will someday attend. If YOU want to address something to me...you can have my email address. Anyone that knows me can tell you me..nor my family is any kind of threat. If you are an officer of the law...you should be ashamed..not me. Mister I have a good sense of humor..and thought you did too. I've never meant harm in anything. But I won't be bullied..no sense in that and it SEEMS like that is what you are trying to do...commenting on your uniform. THAT is an abuse of power in my book. Like I said meet me...then you can make your judements about me...you will probably have a good laugh over it. Heck man I'd even buy all 8 of your kids hotdogs.

I never said I was an officer of the law. You can wear a uniform and not be an officer. You can wear a cheerleading uniform, basketball uniform, UPS uniform, a uniform for someone who delivers uniforms a frito-lay uniform or you can be uniform in the way you dress. When I said address it means to address a situation or you can address an envelope, a golf ball, a person, an email or a salute is a kind of address. I will meet you Thursday and I will take you up on the hotdogs though. I get real hungry at the games. I like ketchup though no mustard.

Congrats to the Dyersburg Trojans. Great season. I do not think anybody expected them to go this far. I am very proud of the team.

Congrats to Dyer County. During the third and fourth quarter they were unbelievable. Not only are they talented they play hard. 100 + points wow. A apluad the players and I believe after what I saw last night they can win the state.

As for the Dyer County coaching staff they are terrible. They did run up the score and kept pressing when the game was well in hand. They are not good for the high school game. I know that many of you will disagree and that is fine. Ths is my OPINION so please no whining or excuses they are quickly becoming old. If you were at the game you seen it. It was a great game but a terrible finish I am so unimpressed with the level of coaching. They really showed those 16, 17 & 18 year old kids from Covington what real winners they are. NOT! When McCord the cry baby /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> leaves in March it will help the Choctaws

Dyer County and Covington will be a very fast game. Dyer County should win this matchup again.

Dyersburg has to play a very good game to beat Haywwod. I think the Trojans can and will get it done. Playing against a tough D like the Choctaws give and a very tough zone like Northside did Friday night continues to make them better.

what about dyersburgs kids stomping and doing the indian chant? evidently they werent there @ the region 7-aa championship last year when crockett did the same thing through much of the game, only to get beat.

yeah that is true about not as many but most of the past 2 years have been PACKED its hard to beat that and as for McCord i think you are right... i talk to him at the games he always talks about "I LOVE THE ORANGE" and always looks excited to coach DC and as for a BTW rematch that probably won't happen until the STATE FINALS!!! but i thought that same thing last year but they ended up losing so it could happen!!! anyway it works out GO CHOCTAWS!!!

I have nothing bad to say about how good the DC basketball team is this year, but I can't help but comment on some of these things that are being said about the DC fans. I can't believe some of these things that are being said about the DC fans. How can you people sit here and talk about how much better the DC fans are and how they are so loyal. That is the biggest joke I have ever heard in my entire life. Where where all of you loyal DC fans the last five plus years when your team couldn't win more than five games a year. Its not loyalty to only show up and support a team when they are winning. That is just following the crowd. To call DC fans the most loyal is the most rediculous statement that has ever been made on CoachT.

Aparently you don't. If you watch any other basketball you will understand. If you don't understand take a class or call Bobby Knight. I know exactly what the offenses and defenses are. We you are pressed it is more of transition game, fast break, etc. With the way DC presses they don't always let you get in to your offensive sets.

Wow, what are we doing? This is crazy! Dyer County is the better team, yes, I typed that . . . BUT the assistant in black for DC was smiling while talking to Rex P. Take my word.(probably won't . . . o well) The refs were inconsistant. Bad calls both ways. I have read every single post on both threads. (Dyer County Bulldogs, and DB.DC.3) The thing I notice is that regardless of what we say, we are going to defend our schools no matter what. We will say "good luck" or "gg" or "you are good", but we (notice I say we) are going to post things even if we know that they are wrong as long as we think they will strengthen our respected school's image. That's the bottom line. The Yankee fan on here obvisouly holds a grudge against Dyersburg from when they played Jackson teams in District play, or maybe that person is a DC supporter. adsmom is . . . well . . . very excited about her team, but seems to be a bit border line on somethings (but so am I) forkeddeer9022, is well, upset. Rightfully so, DC fans, the reason you feel the way you do (puleeze . . . don't be offended in all seriousnes!) is because for almost 6 years, you lost to DB in football, the Lady Trojans held a 12 straight winning streak against you, and our boys team had put up some pretty . . . well wide-margined victories over the years. Again I know this is the past, but hang with me, I'm trying to prove a point . . .

. . . Then comes the controversial team change. DC wins 5 in a row. They deserved it, they also get a win football. You people know how it feels to lose (no offense, everybody loses, that's the point) . Must of DC's fans know how to handle winning because they were around when the chocs won a state title in football, or they were around when DC went to state in basketball back in . . . 2001 (I think) The problem is arising when some fans don't know how to handle winning, but the problem also is largely at Dyersburg. Some people in Dyersburg are too young or to ignorant to know how to handle losing. They have seen the success over the years, and don't know how to lose to DC. People that's the problem. The tides have changed. Dyer County has/is beating Dyersburg in the two "fan friendly" sports. (basketball and football) Live with it! There time will end, our's will come. We'll have to see how long it takes. It might be a year or maybe even 15. I hope people understand this and the meaning. I also hope it isn't taken the wrong way. I'm just trying to ease things in a civil, fair way, and I expect DC fans to post the scores of your 5 straight wins because my point wasn't to brag, but to prove a point.

If someone knows, WHAT exactly is D'burg's coaching strategy?? I've watched them play a few times and I don't get it. Half the time they all look like they are playing for diff. teams. Seems like they have a few players that ALWAYS get the ball. Not alot of spread play.

The basic strategy from coach Real is to win. (This is very common in athletics).

They run a variety of offenses and defenses. That is why the one more games than they lost and came in number 2 in the district behind the mighty choctaws.

They run the Memphis and a flex which should be very clear if you watched the game.

If that??™s the worse thing that Rex ever does, he's already ahead of all the DHS student fans that can't quit cursing at the games. You OBVIOUSLY don't know anything about the coaching staff at DC. Those 3 coaches have more class and have done more for those young men than you can imagine. The game played out about like I had envisioned it. Not trying to be a prophet here by any means, but I posted I believed the Choctaws were 13 to 14 points better than the Trojans. What was the final score again? Just kidding....congrats to both squads on a fine played game and I sure enjoyed the applause for the kids from DC and Dyersburg when the players agreed to stagger the picture of the all-district team. Great sportsmanship fellas!

The game last night was a good one. The DC team showed why they are #1 in the state and I am sure they will represent west tn well. I was prepared to back the DC team all the way until after the game was over....

After a convicing win, Rex Pierce decides to pull his jersey off and shake it at the Dyersburg Crowd. Wow. I was really upset when Rex left Dyersburg becuase I thought he was a terrific player. But with that type of display I am glad DC has him. The assitant coaches were smiling and patting him on the back. I guess if you never won anything before then you don't know how to act. I watched the Dyer County Boys team and I am still amazed at how great they are. A team that is great looks to get better every game. They crushed a once highly ranked Westview team. Justin Blake went off. Good Luck Choctaws.

The bad thing is their fans. When Dyersburg took the floor against Milan, many of the DC fans cheered Milan and booed Dyersburg. Were the fans hoping that Milan might beat Dyersburg and the Choctaws would play an overmatched Milan team? Were the fans not wanting a rematch? They were flat out ugly to the Trojans.

I do not think it was any of this. I think it is just poor sportsmanship from the Dyer Count Fans (not the players). The Dyer Couny fans have been getting thumped for soooooo long that their frustration spilled out in to boos against their Arch rival. Its ok we understand. NOT!

Don't worry you can cheer and boo the right way tonight. Lets see two really good team go at it. If this makes you upset you can always look for a place in Gibson County.
