You cannot have an All-State Team without the two Goodpasture players! Chris Lowe -Batted well over 400 ,50+ hits , over 10 pitching wins, soild outfield play. Jay Moreland -good stick, 50+ hits, lead GP in RBIs, 1-error all year(6 errors in 4 years) only gave up 2 stolen bases all year.

The last time I checked Ron Carter has no hits nor has he had any wins on the mound! The good thing is he has not made any errors yet this year. It is my understanding that @ 90% of the kids on this team have been at Goodpasture since the 1st grade. I guess they see talent at a early age !!

Not so fast, that limb are going out on may get cut !! Goodpasture has two big advanages, 1) Homefield , and 2) those guys at Goodpasture have been there before, this will make the 4th sectional in a row for their seniors ! Moore Co. is good or they would not be there however do not over estimate their history.

Doesn't Franklin Co. have a newspaper? Doesn't Williamson Co. have a newspaper? Doesn't Sumner Co. have a newspaper? Doesn't Rutherford Co. have a newspaper? I bet I would never see a story about Overton or Goodpasture in any of those fine newspapers, unless of course one of those teams played one of the teams in their area! Those papers sure are missing out on covering some good baseball !!

Hey, you guys need to give this kid a break !! He is a good kid and does not deserve all of this crap. He is one of the best catchers in the state. He puts up with alot of crap most everywhere he plays and does not react to there comments, which takes alot on his part. There is not a team around that would not love to have someone like this kid on their team. Respect his talent and his hard work to get to this point and get off his case.

Do not forget Jay Moreland and Chris Lowe both from Goodpasture. Lowe bated .490 last year leading GHS to the State Championship. Moreland is one of the best catchers in the state bar none. There is a reason Vanderbilt and Trevecca both liked and signed these players
