  1. our jv beat your varsity in a scrimmage, rosemark is a second-rate piece of crap school
  2. ewan mccauley, bram cannon, jeremy walley, michael oher, john greer, joseph crone, brandon jackson, justin sparks, trey lampkin, terio Franklin, jamal goodrich, micah gill, ryan acuff, so yes 13, 15 no, but all have either received scholarships or been shown heavy interest from d1 schools.
  3. he is a great qb but tiptons schedule is lousy, and judging by schedule strength, Paul Warner from White Station is the top QB in the city.
  4. i would love to see a briarcrest-Germantown or briarcrest-Houston game this year
  5. hahahahahahahahahaha i wanna know who urbankit is so we could meet up. last year we had 9 seniors, the lowest in briarcrest history, and while we may have had the worst record in 20 years at briarcrest, we were not a bad team. we have 15+ d1 prospects this year and by some papers and polls are regarded as the best team to EVER come out of briarcrest (have to wait to see this season). and, no, i do not think yall could have hung on with us last year. i would love to have seen the scores of the games if yall played teams like east, Ridgeway, mus, cbhs, BGA, and so forth. yall cant even get the balls up to schedule a decent public school. so stop playing crappy teams like lighthouse, catholic, and trinity and maybe we can have conversation worth talking sometime.
  6. yea im here, who are you??
  7. 94' Riverdale but not by much Ah, another classic team. That must've been a heck of a game, too. what about the 91 MUS team with Marc MacMillan, John Sartelle, and Hart Weatherford? did any of yall play against them?
  8. anyways, about the juniors...watch out for Henry Harris & Chris Mosby (CBHS), Taylor Dillon & Brandon Jackson (Briarcrest), Donnie Malmo (MUS), David Taylor (Hamilton), Cassius Vaughn - Junior i think (East), Austin Tutor (Germantown), Will Fruitt (FACS), and again TAYLOR DILLON & BRANDON JACKSON...there are tons more, someone add the ones i missed.
  9. ok orwell, we're the "big brother" of AA, i didnt say anything about AAA
  10. shut up briarcrest would shut both of you down, go talk in the D2-A message board

  12. too bad this message board is about football and not tennis, and emory doesnt even have a football team. also, my question is unanswered, where are the all-americans?? First, I wasn't responding to you. Second, Emory & Henry (not Emory) does indeed have a football team. And third, you just asked a BA alum to name the All-Americans who have played for his school, so here goes... Scott Holmes, P, Florida State Bubba Miller, OL, Tennessee, NFL (all-pro in a decade-long career w/ the Eagles) Tremayne Allen, Florida, NFL Josh Swords, OL/DL, 1995, Alabama Richard Land, OL/DL, 1995, Texas Jamaan Bass, DB, 1995, Nebraska Mikki Allen, DB, 1996, Tennessee, NFL (49ers) Tito Lee, FB, 1996 Austin Kemp, TE/LB, 1996, Tennessee Kurston Biggers, HB, 1996, Tennessee Jerry Vanderpool, OL/DL, 1998, MTSU Scott Wells, OL/DL, 1999, Tennessee, NFL (Packers) John Vaughn, K, 2002, Auburn Kody Bliss, P, 2002, Auburn There are plenty more from BA's 6 state championship teams in the 70's and 80's, but these are the ones who've played since I've started following BA football. And I would list all-staters like you did, but there's a limit on posting length. sorry, i was aiming for one season, not two decades; and also, maybe you should address a college/university by its full name, not an abbreviation taken by another college. lose the snotty attitude too. Not snotty, just defensive. I'm a nice guy, I promise. As for this season, there are no all-americans on BA's roster, but several all-staters and a couple strong college prospects. I wish Briarcrest's stars a successful season and pleasant recruiting process...I was simply pointing out the errors and ironies in your post. Nothing personal, b/c I have every bit of respect for the Saints. same for BA; sorry about that man.

    D2-AA

im definitely feelin another Briarcrest - BGA DIIAA title game
  14. Taylor Dillon - RB - Briarcrest Brandon Jackson - DE - Briarcrest BEERCREST RULES!!
  15. Todd Cox....OVERRATED!! Paul Warner (White Station) is probably the best quarterback in the city though, along with Bram Cannon (Briarcrest), Rob Park (MUS), David Taylor (Hamilton), and Brian Hall (Collierville).
  16. Alber is a killer running back with speed and strength, i look forward to the MUS-Briarcrest game this year....also add sophomore JB Bolton from Briarcrest to the list, great running back with superb strength even though he is about 5'8
  17. Definitely Bobby Toland (Briarcrest, 92-94) or Andy McCarroll (MUS, 82-85).

  20. Saints are loaded for run at Div 2-AA state title.- Memphis Commercial Appeal- Pre season dandy dozen- ranked number 2 behind state chmpions Germantown Red Devils who look for a run at state and should win. Briarcrest lacks no depth in every area. It will be interesting to see what happens- Catholic always looks good and BGA traditionally always has something. I will say Harding is a sleeper.
  21. Too bad all those guys are rising Juniors and not sophomores. Fruitt is a great athlete but Carter went to Briarcrest as a freshman and was nothing special. I hope FACS does win II-A though.
  22. JB Bolton, Jeff Hartman from Briarcrest....good players
  23. BEERcrest will dominate this year.
  24. ok notredame788, one things for sure, that Briarcrest will kill this year, 13-0 ask around Michael Oher - ALL AMERICAN - Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, LSU, Ole Miss, North Carolina State, Miami, Memphis Justin Sparks - ALL AMERICAN - North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Memphis, Tennessee, Oklahoma State Joseph Crone - ALL STATE - Dartmouth, Cornell, Memphis, Kentucky, Samford, Arkansas State, Arkansas Jeremy Walley - ALL STATE - Arkansas, Dartmouth, Memphis, Samford, North Carolina State, Arkansas State Bram Cannon - ALL STATE - Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Samford, Memphis Ewan McCauley - North Carolina Just to name a few of Briarcrest's recruits. Where are BGA and Catholic's All-Americans??
