Alcoa has a VERY good offensive line. But to say that all of the CAK defensive linemen were "manhandled" is mis-leading and not really the truth.

Hmmmmmmm....I spoke to an individual today that "ran" the chains Friday night. Oh yeah, I spoke to one of the officials too! THANKED THEM BOTH FOR A GREAT JOB!!!!

Wanna know what's scary about all those yards our offense put up??? Our best/strongest offensive lineman only played the first series (no he wasn't hurt, he was busy playing defense).

They have seen our passing attack this season, they were ready.

Looking forward to another game with Alcoa.

I was truly disappointed by the comments of one Polk coach when #25 was injured late in the 4th quarter. SHAME ON YOU.....COACH!!

Thank you for the kind words. I think OVERALL the officials did a good job tonght. Could they have tossed a flag on almost every play, probably.

Let's not even go there. My son #67 plays defensive line and trust me, he was held/tackled on several plays with no flag (not to mention the illegal chop block by two of the Polk players).

Stamina is NOT an issue for CAK. We have one lineman that has played 109 snaps in one game and 112 in another.

And another thing, my perception of your post is that all private schools have preppy kids that only play for themselves and nothing else. Again, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE SAYING THIS! I was hoping that somebody else was going to say something about the CAK / Betsy game last year. Please correct me if I am wrong, but didn't a couple of the Betsy players stop and "jaw" to our players as we were stretching? Where was all this swagger at a couple of weeks ago?? I also want to express my concern over comments by the Elizabethton HC. After the game last year he made comments like, we beat them in every way except on the scoreboard and this year saying that CAK is not 21 points better than Elizabethton....Well, I'm tired of it. If the Cyclones are that good, why won't they agree to play CAK in the next two years?
