The Patriots did not mean any disrespect by running out on the field during the "NATIONAL ANTHEM." They are the "PATRIOTS" so it was almost as if the West band was playing their song! If you wanna talk disrespect look at last year's basketball game between the two teams at Jefferson County when the West fans ran out and started stomping on the Jeff. Co. midcourt. The Jeff. County players were trying to cheer up fans by doing the same thing to West that they did to us.

I'm serious he really has not left yet. I know. I talked 2 him about it.

I have talked to players at ALCOA, guys at JEFFERSON COUNTY, coaches, and Chris. All have confermed he will remain a Patriot. thumb

Chris said he was staying with Marty, so that means chris is still at Jefferson County. UNLESS, Marty went with him to Alcoa!

There are more than 29 guys. The freshmen team has about that many. There are more than that on varsity. There are at least 50 guys still playing for sure. The rumor about 29 was started last week by a few individuals that are not happy with the school's athletic department. Oh, and Jefferson County has about 2400 students.

I talked to players from BOTH Jefferson County and Alcoa. The reports on both sides say Shiverdecker is not going to Alcoa. It was talked about, but he decided to stay in Dumplin Valley.

Shiverdecker DID NOT go to alcoa. He is still workin out at jeff county. As of today he is not leaving.

By far the state's loudest student section is [Jefferson County's] "The Jungle." We are known for getting in trouble (usually at basketball games) for being too loud!

How well do you guys think Jefferson county will do this year? They have lots of talent, but get no respect. good players include: Chris Shiverdecker- is a soph. Will be more than adequate replacement for former runningback Aaron Carson John Huskey-senior. can hit as hard as the big guys Zack Smiley-senior. will be an exciting player, gives 100% effort on every play The Patriots seem to be gelling as one unit under first year head coach Marty Euverard. They do everything with lots of team effort.
