  1. It is official now. David Wampler II, is now an employee of the Oneida school system. Wampler will fulfill the duties of offensive coordinator and strength and conditioning, and also an assistand under Onieda Head Basketball Coach Kevin Wendell.
  2. I do not know if anyone is aware of this, but cc has lost their defensive coordinator to Onieda. CC has a HUGE space to fill. If someone lesser a caliber of coach comes in to replace wampler, CC running game will have to score big numbers this year.
  3. well, this is week 4 of this football season, and yet another 1-9 season is on the rise for this so called mature and physical football team. And i hope they read this and prove me wrong. Anyways here are some very intresting facts. cc has been able to protect steiner and throw the ball around a little bit. The running game looked great against an at best mediocre football team morristown east. The cougar defense has looked ok and in my opinion kept them in 2 out of 3 games. If you look at time of possession in there 2 losses and yards per drive on offense they are making there defense stay on the field way way to long. The play calling towards the end of the game with the trickory was ridicolous and hopefully that part of the playbook was burnt friday night after it was called. Oh and by the way every time cc lines up in a certain formation they only run 3 things. yes i really said what ijust said players and coaches of cc, PROVE ME WRONG!!!!!!!!
  4. Campbell Co. went in very cocky last night. I don't know why they did. I mean, after the Mo East game, they acted like they won state or something. Anyway, Jeff. Co wanted that game more and they showed it. Congrats on your victory Jeff. Co. Next week the Cougars need to get their head into the game or they'll loose once again.
  5. Thanks to everone that has provided me back with their opinions. I was at every game last year for cc and i noticed a bit of ego flaring up on the side line from time to time, and it caused major friction because i saw half thrown footballs and half ran reciever routes. Wells needs to maintain discipline with his boys on and off the field.
  6. I have enjoyed reading the posts on here by you gentlemen. I know how cougar football is and always will be unless there is ever a coach who can get in the hallways and recruit the talent walking the hallways instead of depending on the lesser athletes to get them through the year. I know what kind of talent they have this year and also know there are still more talent probably walking the halls than still playing football. Kudos to the coaching staff for the two 1 win seasons and the one 3 win season. I also know enough about the game and this county that defense was the only thing that kept that team afloat last year, and a couple of lucky plays on offense. Would love to see a reply to this from one of you guys. LAter
