Mt. Pleasant will roll, I have watched them. On there worst day, they are still better than most of the rest. There defense is under rated it may be better than thier O.

What about teams that had high expectations. But did not show up. Which team had the toughest season. Also which team had the most potential but could not put it together.

27-7 Ardmore

Richland was getting man handled by Ardmore late in the 4th. Score 21-7 Ardmore run the Flex bone (nothing fancy) And was very well coached. I think Ardmore may have run a total of 4 different plays. It was like watching a bad video game in slow motion.

I heard that it has been put on hold by the county.

I hope you do. The players deserve to win. But the fact of the matter is Richland has not won since 1991. (The last playoff win) The kids deserve something to build on and 2 wins in 2 years is not it. Concentrate on building a winning attitude first. Good Luck

Did anyone here about Pickett at Richland. He said some very choice words during a scrimmage with Collinwood. He said then to a player and coach and the following fight between the two teams was the result of the words he said. Anyway he was relived of his coaching duties and transferred out of the high school. They have since hired a new coach. Does anybody know him, and does he have a history of this. I think he coached at Clarksville before coming to richland.

You are all to young to remember Bill Wallace of Richland in the Late 80's lead richland to the clinic bowl. 5'9' at the most and almost 5000 yds in 3 years and he run the old Single wing for all of you young folks thats like the shotgun formation only you run it 80-90% of the time Just think of the pounding he had to take and never missed a play.

Coach, What do you think of changing countys to coach. Should tenur be required or optional. I recently was contaceted for the head baseball coach job at Richland and was told that i could not transfer tenur to that county. I then told them that I could not accept any postion that did not put any faith in my abblitys. I am from that school and still live in that county but drive to another county to teach and coach. I am qualified to be that head coach but was turned down becouse I wanted tenur before leaving my present job. Was I wrong te request that???
