They are 4-3 with 3 losses totaling 16 points in what was known to be a potential "down" year anyway.

The kid the entire team was built around has been injured since week 1 and they are playing a freshman at QB.

Are there things I don't understand, especially on defense? Yes.

Ideal? No. But sheesh.

Not sure the little rebels can hand like the talent and coaching prowess of bearden.

#1 should be good to go Friday, at least based on what I was told.

The two best running backs in this group are 7th graders.

One is out for season with injury. The other decided to play rec league again this year. The one in rec league is going to be as good as any that have come through here.

They'll be ok.

His is ankle, not foot. I think that's what Henry's was anyway.

Lots of good memories on that field going back to a kid. Two hardest hit I've ever seen at any level of the game happened there.

But, if you get the right turf it's not a problem. And it's got to be safer that the cow pasture I played on when I was there.

My personal prediction, as of this morning - #7 will be back the week after the BYE.

I just know the family says there is a chance he’ll play again this year. I’m as shocked as anybody and still don’t expect him to, but they haven’t wavered. 

Family has not given up hope for this year. I guess they’ll know more tomorrow.

The jury out is what I figured. Usually the years they do the best coaching job even if there is an early season loss or two than leaves you dumbfounded.
