Why did MTCS forfeit the second game??

My source said that they didnt hear anything today either. They dont know what happened or why there was not an announcement. Maybe we will hear something tomorrow.

Word around SHS is Mr. Raikes will introduce a coach on Wednesday. He will do it in fron of the girls basketball team.A very relialble source said today that they dont think he will hire coach Willey for whatever reason. They said that they are very confident that Mr. Raikes will introduce Chad Hibdon as the next coach of Smyrna High School. All girls players, their parents, and even most student that go to SHS and the faculty were pulling for coach Hibdon. If they dont hire Hibdon the source said they would be dumbfounded.

Well the decision could come as early as tuesday, and that is coming straight out of mr. raikes' mouth. He wants somebody with experience which is a strike against Hibdon, but also Willey coached at Smyrna in the 90's then left to go LaVergne, which is a strike against him. If i had to guess, i would put my money that Willey gets the job. If i had a say in it though, I would pick Hibdon. He may not have the experience but he sure does have the knowledge and the girls look up to him. The smart decision is Willey, but the smartesr thing is not always the best thing. If Hibdon doesnt get the SHS job he shouldnt worry because he will be a hot comodity for lots of schools for years to come.That guy can flat out coach.

Smyrna beat district leading MT.Juliet 5-4.

It will be a pretty good game for the fans to watch and the players to play in.I expect a tough rugged game.Smyrna will pull it out on their home floor in the end.
