i know they lose gaston miller, antuan smith, kit hartsfield, and shane rollins which are HUGE losses. riverdale was pretty much three deep in everything else last year but you just cant replace players like those four.
  4. siegel girls are def contenders. most games are simple blowouts. they have great chemistry and experience, good talent, and great coaching. i seriously think all five starters could possibly get all district and honorable mention.
  5. great job siegel. looks like we're back in winning form. cant wait till we take back the number one spot in the district
  6. oden, ramsey, roper, thomas, and allen ... i agree about roper, he's a quiet player with a LOUD three point shot
  7. ahhh district 7AAA.... gotta love it
  8. blizzard stepped up big time under pressure. i was surprised by his composure. wade played well and i had hoped we could maintain allen for the most part. darien was big time as well. like i said earlier, oakland has some players that get it done as good as anybody in this state. they'll be a challenge for us to get out of this district.
  9. and no i dont believe it was 75% of you at all.... i am friends with a lot of athletes and non athletes at oakland and know they wouldnt hurt a soul intentionally.
  10. well thanks for the respect... but i havnt found anything bizarre that i've said... from where i was standing (third row up, next to bench), i saw one of our players get run over and stepped on and a few of his teammates stepped in to help and it got a bit hostile. i honestly believe it has a lot to do with where you were standing during this whole event. because as i looked around i didnt see much of a fight anywhere but where i was standing.
  11. do u honestly think i mean EVERY oakland fan when i say that?... sorry for the misunderstanding, but common sense says not every one of you are folk looking for trouble.
  12. 2p you know i dont categorize you like that. i tried to make it clear before that i know that most of the oakland fans had no intentions of harming our people. it's just what it looked like from where i was standing.... again, just what it looked like.
  13. dont get me wrong, i didn't think oakland would win this game, but i knew oakland was a solid team. if you name out the roster, it's obvious. competitors = winners, and oakland has some competitive boys.
  14. two wrongs make a right then, correct?
  15. 2p you know i'm not a dramatic guy... and i dont speak on the signs being ripped off the wall or anything EXCEPT for the violence that seemed from my perspective to be provoked by the fans from oakland
  16. yea... deffinetely should have been more.
  17. cutters black eye was from a fist
  18. this is true... it actually surprises me every time you tell me he did that. suit yourself... 2P said he knows who i'm talking about
  19. out of respect for this player, i wont give a name.
  20. were there none guarding the ende of the court before the end of the game? (i wasn't paying attention to the area before the buzzer went off)
  21. actually, one of the oakland players was doing exactly what you just described jimmy's dad did last year tonight.. (won't name any names)
  22. ok so it happens in that situation as well... that's not even my point. how's this one: siegel rushing court to celebrate win > oakland rushing court to start a riot
  23. is my screen name harrishooligans?... i speak for myself and from my own perspective. we didnt mob the cookeville players. i'm not making a case on a fan court-rushing. that stuff happens (especially when a player hits a three at the buzzer to win). i'm only speaking of how the oakland fans went about it tonight in comparison to how we did at the cookeville game.
  24. lol i wish some fans were run by the tssaa. a few just need a time out for a while
  25. We didn't mob cookeville's players literally to the ground... that's what made the difference tonight.
