  1. offense wins games defense wins championships offense and defense sends hillwood home with their tail between their legs
  2. Man the guy using the name columbia central is a little feisty. Bring back any memories guys? should I say Coach Chris? Hmm? What happened to thier team in week 9?
  3. can you find out his stats, or can anyone else tell us?
  4. I don't think anyone is blaming these people you mention, I don't even think people are blaming you coach chris. If I'm correct the only names to have been mentioned in any ill-manner at all have been Coach Stevens, and Wilkerson, and rightfully so for their remarks. I don't know what your team is like as a whole, or what kind of effort you all put in every day. I will say this that no one has put up that many points against a tough WH defense all year. I think a halftime adjustment helped matters, but you all have some weapons. Regardless of what you have or how hard your team works there is no excuse for the comments made by coach stevens and wilkerson.
  5. Ricky Ladd from White House had 254 yards on 13 carries. I think that's pretty impressive. Perhaps even Jeff Fisher player of the week worthy. What do you all think. Did anyone else from your teams have a bigger game?
  6. oh yeah one more thing, what was the deal with the personal foul on the coach? what happened?
  7. notice the difference in attitudes, Coach Porter talks about how humble and quiet Ricky Ladd is while Coach Stevens (look coach chris, I'm pointing out the one who did it) says WH didn't have much firepower and the officiating was bad. Now notice the two backs reactions, Ladd says I have no reason not to make those big runs the way my line plays. Then you have Wilkerson that says Im not going to say he's better than me but he has a good line. WOW, this is a perfect example of the difference in the two programs, and if you notice it all starts with the head coach.
  8. I knew our offense was good, but not this good. Greenbrier seemed to have a pretty effective run defense, and I think that coach Grantham knew that, so the first play of the game he throws it. I think Grantham (offensive coordinator) did a fantastic job, he knew exactly what would work and he went with it. I was wondering if we picked up Steve Spurrier in the off-season there for a while. We looked like we were playing a little fun and gun. I don't know how the rest of the state played tonight but I could think of a couple of WH players (harmon and levering) who could be Jeff Fisher player of the week candidates. I think we'll give 4-A all they want to handle this year from a technically 3-A team.
  9. coachchris, If I was a coach or even a player I would agree with you that looking at that game is pointless, but as a fan I'll talk about it years down the road. Just ask anyone around here about some of the WH-Portland games and you'll hear more stories than you'll be able to hear in one sitting. Give me a break, it gives me something to do. I'll make a great old man, I love to talk, and what better to talk about than the injustice done at the 03 wh northwest game with the infamous sprinklers. I can't wait till week 9, because I will be talking some major trash, and I'm sure you'll have something to say back, and that's ok, that's what this is all about right? I'ts people like you that make this website fun. I hear you'all are having problems this year. I hope you get it together before week 9 cause when we beat a good Northwest team I want to make sure you know it. After last years game, I think that for WH fans (and I would bet the coaches and players too) Northwest is the team to beat this year, along with Greenbrier (we have to keep up the streak). thumb
  10. say what you will (from past experience ive seen that your going to anyway) but anyone who was there would have to admit it was a just a tad bit fishy. But don't worry, there are shifts set up to gaurd the shut off valve this year. By the way, Viking fans seem to be pretty interested in WH posts, but there's still a few weeks till the NW game. I wonder why this is?
  11. yeah when it costs the game, if you remember momentum was clearly on the devils side, and we were driving, then sprinklers stop the game, and the tail back fumbles the next play. Call it what you want, it wont happen this year and I dont really see a repeat of the outcome either.
  12. I would too if I was northwest, no sprinklers at the house this year.
