mjuhb, It seems like you know both teams. Where will the good and bad matchups be? Strengths vs Strenghts, Strengths vs Weaknesses.

Coffee County Middle School at 4pm. Game is early because the field has no lights.

Coffee County plays Shelbyville Central tomorrow night. Should be a good game. Any thoughts? Looks like Coffee County is playing all their District games consecutively. Is that scheduling wisdom or coincidence?

I predict that siegel will destroy shelbyville 6 to nothing. Beat cookville again by 5 and cumberland co by 15. Cordova will be shaking in their shoes. When siegel nation gets them in the 1st round. And claim there first STATE TITLE and probably more. IT IS JUST SIEGEL YEAR!!!!

Well, I did eat at taco bell last night and have a little stomach ache this morning... but I'm sure it will pass! Other than that, I have no injuries to report.

Gosh! I kinda like both polls. The real challenge is to be in the top on BOTH. I imagine if there were another viable poll, we would be debating about its accuracy too. Again, thanks mjuhb and whoever does the eurosport poll, I appreciate any effort that sparks competition among quality programs!

Coaches should play the best man for the job. As far as these transient students, if they played ball, it could give their lives some normalcy. Lord knows what they've been through.

Tullahoma wins 34-3 againts Shelbyville. Tullahoma's Defense was a key factor with 4 turnovers. (N. Chapman returns INT for a Touchdown, Tullahoma never looked back)

How can CCS not be rated in the Redmond? They are undefeated.

Good question... I've seen them play and would match their style and skill level with Oak Ridge and Franklin. Looks like CCS will have to schedule some games against ranked AAA schools next year to get the respect they deserve in the Redmond poll.

Well, DB did pull out a win over Knox West and Knox West beat Knox Catholic (A/AA #5) and a win over Beech and Beech tied Farragut (AAA #10). That's the closest thing I can find to competition in their schedule so far. With 69 goals and only allowing 9, maybe the coach has been grooming his team for the big games at the end of the year, especially considering their next four games are basically at home! Even a couple of wins would strengthen this team for the playoffs, but four losses might just break their spirit. Is it wise scheduling or or just plain reckless? As for playing Shelbyville; we’ll see what the future holds……..
