Well, DB did pull out a win over Knox West and Knox West beat Knox Catholic (A/AA #5) and a win over Beech and Beech tied Farragut (AAA #10). That's the closest thing I can find to competition in their schedule so far. With 69 goals and only allowing 9, maybe the coach has been grooming his team for the big games at the end of the year, especially considering their next four games are basically at home! Even a couple of wins would strengthen this team for the playoffs, but four losses might just break their spirit. Is it wise scheduling or or just plain reckless? As for playing Shelbyville; we’ll see what the future holds……..
